Well I tried and it does not work


This new Build is built around the kernel, all builds are built around the kernel

I would have to revert a lot of the drivers from beta2d mostly the egl video drivers to get this to work with the beta2d(2.6.2.39) zImage

If the majority of the people who are using my ROM want to revert back to an ee14 (2.6.2.39) based ROM - I will do it.

I am not gonna do it just because one person is trying to use the oldest version of Netflix and it is not working


Maybe you can help trouble shoot the issue, maybe it is as simple as a prop setting, I spent a lot of time getting this to work with the new kernel (2.6.35.7) and new baseband and I dont want to throw out all the work for a very old version of netflix

I would rather try to figure out why the new netflix audio is out of sync

The link to beta2d ROM is still there so you can download it and install it

OR DO YOU WANT TO GET THE EJ06 BASED ROM FINISHED
 
My Gf is STILL using 2d. It does everything she uses it for I can't think of anything that is functionless (atleast nothing that she is complaining about, lol). I'm all for advancement but if ee14 seems more promising, by all means, do your thing.

One comment tho, if this Odin issue becomes an epidemic, and all noobs are stuck on ej06, the ee14 version will kinda be exclusive to those with Odin compatible phones. Members Only. LOL

idont think your port has to do anything with netflix audio/video sync. it does the same thing on the stock roms and every other rom i've tried.

id say go for ee14 since it was almost finished, but ejo6 is coming out pretty beastly.

I was able to get netflix 1.2.2 to play by copying the old OMX libraries

and it works good

netflix 1.6 still has audio / video sync issues


please test and report your results

I dont know if this is gonna break anything else

did you try beta4b, what problems did you have with beta4b
 
Actually I haven't tried it out yet... But I am about to throw it on for a while to see what I like most... I'll definitely let you and the rest of the forum know if I have any kinds of problems with it... Thanks to you and everyone for all the hard work...
 
ive also noticed these errors in the logcat, have you seen it before?whats going on there.

I am really not on that high of a level, I am just a very persistent person, and I dont give up easily, I am very good at trouble shooting, and I have a logic orientated mind
 
is it a permissions issue in the init.rc? thats why the under cyanogenmod settings>performance>cpu settings you cant change the min and max cpu frequencys from the available governors.

it could be, maybe something i removed when i cleaned the init

i will take a look at it maybe tommorow, i need to get to bed
