Cwm had so many no optipns To make sure you know which option you are selecting

ok perfect it installed the rom after that i clicked back button and hit reboot system it rebooted but not into cwm mode to install the hot fix do i have to go back into cwm myself?

yeah its okay, follow this if your unsure of any apks to remove.

and for the keyboard extract bloodawns latinIME.apk its about 1mb or less & it works on cm7.

hey hroark i cant install zips in cwm. i get an error saying:
finding update package...
opening update package...
E: can't open /sdcard /beta4bhf1.zip
(bad)
installation aborted.
same thing with cwm update

check the download, might have corrupted. Just redownload and copy to the sd card.
Also make sure you are not trying to use the update.zip menu.
You want to be opening the install from zip menu.

thats what i did. i downloaded the file and cwm update twice from computer and from my phone. i also chose what to install not hit install update.zip

hmm ok, I have not done anything with either of those files so I think I will let someone else in to help with this.
I just hit the basics that apply to anything.
try reinstalling CWM (the new fixed version)

i cant thru cwm so i tried odin, but the odin zip doesnt have a stick.zip inside
the stick.zip is for the stock rom
it deletes the file in the stock rom that restores the stock recovery on reboot

okay, done. installed cwm thru odin and im still getting problems with the beta4bhf1.zip file. i tried downloading the hf1 file again and still get the same thing. i did try flashing the blockadds.zip you provided earlier and that flashed so it looks like theres something wrong with the file from mediafire.
is anyone else getting problems

i really dont know whats going on, can anyone else install hf1. i can install it. thanks for the second link hroark, tried that also to no success.
ohh well. guess ill put it off for now. 4b is running pretty good so far so i dont need to flash hf1 anytime soon.

Installed the HF and everything went smooth. When I reboot my phone I get a funny ringer for a second but Im sure its just a setting for some notification I need to change.

Thanks for your post Monster.......my battery life seems to have stayed the same with gingerbread then back on to cm7?
I went back to using Droidwall to quell the drain.....LOL!
