Root D3 port?

[Steven58]

I just saw the d3 on the vzw store. I'll probably be getting it for my son. The app drawer and homescreen animations are very nice. They're using crt-off, btw.

So, my son will have a more powerful phone than his dad.

Here's my question. Is there any possibility that this rom cold be ported to the DX?

[Metfanant]

not sure...but i would like a system dump so i can steal the icons and such

edit: got em lol

[VoidedSaint]

i doubt it, but you never know

[Metfanant]

i wouldn't know where to start...but there are lots of animation files in the system dump...some of us around here are surely smart enough that they could potentially modify our current ROM (.596) to include these...

Its right up my alley as I like simple layouts on my phones. I wonder if there is a bracketed yellow. Hmmm.

Off to look. Thanks man.

Cheers.

Not sure if they did or not. Have not had time to check everything out. Let us know!

[cougar214]

They used the Droid 2 boot ani. At least I think it's the droid 2 boot ani. Someone do tell,

[Metfanant]

Originality has been lost for Moto hasn't it?

[Trooper]

Damn. Weak sauce for sure. Well, at least the bionic will have a new one. Lol.

How do you use the dump, just unzip it?
Thanks

Thanks

After you unzip it and the dump is out, you gotta remember to wipe and flush. Oh, and rezip it.
