Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

They said my phone would ship by June 11th. I received my shipment email on June 8th. Now I am at home waiting for Fed Ex to get here. This is definitely worse then waiting since 5/22 when I ordered it by phone.

I am just hoping it arrives before I leave for work. If not I will post a signed note with tracking number on my door and hope they leave it.

That's the problem. I'm a new customer, so I don't have phone number to use for customer service over the phone. Obviously, this also means that *611 isn't a possibility for me either. Thanks for the reassurance though.

WHAT!?!?! I ordered 5/27 in store and I still don't have mine!!!
 
I ordered my phone on 5/29, order processed on the same day. Verizon website said Shipped by the 14th.. Hopefully I get the phone soon...

Have you tried 1-800-922-0204 and just give them your name n what not I am sure they can try n help you :) sorry in advance if not. I'm a May 25er awaiting NON patiently lol I hear there is a $100 rebate on the incredible anyone know what that is about ??

How did you order? Online they just do the rebate on the spot I think. In store you get a second receipt and have to send it in with the upc off the box. My total in store was $324.74 - and once the phone arrives, I send all the good stuff in and viola, $100 rebate comes as a card in the mail.
 
Phone is sitting on the front porch. Now if only someone would get home from work and ship it out to me.

Also, not sure if this has been discussed or not, fedex will leave it on your door if you leave a note. I pretty sure I've annoyed my family so much they probably plastered every door with notes to leave the package. Many people might have a problem leaving a 500 dollar phone out but that's one of the perks of living in backwoods Alabama. You don't have to worry about someone stealing stuff off your porch.

When you order through an actual person you get charged that 299 price - if you do it online they do the credit immediately.

I ordered mine on the 28th at around 8am processed same day with a ship by date of 6/18, Later on that day the ship by was bumped from 6/18 to 6/22 so I find it hard to believe your tale.

OK OK OK - I got one....

Ordered it in a VZW store 3 minutes ago. Expected delivery date of "After lunch. Today".

Just got email confirming it is on the truck and out for delivery! Wait! Doorbell......

Horray! Its here! OMG you guys are going to love it!
 
My phone is FINALLY here - in my hands. What a long wait, and my FedEx guy made it even worse. He is always here by 9:00 in the morning. I sat around from 8:30 until 12:30 waiting for him. I decided to start making lunch, and wouldn't you know it - just as my water started boiling I heard his truck pull up. I ran to the door and opened the door just as he was going to ring the doorbell. I think I freaked him out. :D If only he knew how long I had been waiting for that elusive box to arrive at my front door. Anyway - here are my stats:

5/22 - Order in store
6/4 - promised date (came and went)
6/11 - new promise date
6/8 - Ship Date
6/10 - Arrival date

**20 days from order to arrival**

I hope the rest of you receive your phones soon! :)

So I just got off the phone with VZW checking if there was any update (I know I know) and the rep told me a story about a guy he talked to earlier today.

The customer bought this dinc in store and waited the typical 20 days and it arrived today. So he went home from work to get it and activated it before jumping in his car to drive back to work.

Here's where it gets bad. So he sets the phone on the dash of his car with the passenger window open, almost misses a turn and swings his car around the turn a little hard.

Bye-bye brand new Droid Incredible - it sailed out the window. The rep said the customer sounded like a broken man. LOL

So he gets back to work and calls in his insurance claim. He gets his new Dinc on 7/8. I really feel for that dude... but who the eff puts their phone on the dash of their car?
