I did make a b/u, but wanted to get this thing out of my system and go to the original deodexed gb leak, because it was much more stable to me. :p
 
I manually deodexed my DX on the newest leak and haven't had any issues. Tweetdeck and all other apps are working fine for me.

It seems like whomever deodexed the TBH deodex file didn't do it correctly. I will just wait until it's corrected.

Just an idea... How about a new downloading symbol??? Not real fond of the big block with the arrow. That is just me though. You can make it however you want and I would still probably use it, lol.. Just a suggestion...:D
 
After all the nonsense of being on P3's deodex and it's messing up my dx, I'm on this and it's working fine. Thanks! Also on EF's circle battery and crt-off.
 
so, Im about as confused as I can typically get. Im running the latest leak 4.5.588 and have DLed the updated file from the first post. Do I just rename it update.zip and take the same steps to install it?

no, dl the file from the OP and install it in clockwork recovery just like you would any regular file
 
Hey guys, I went ahead and made my own deodex zip :D

The reason I did it was because the one AirMaxx23 linked is missing framework-res.apk, blur-res.apk, moto-res.apk, and vending.apk. I included these because if you flash a theme, you can simply apply this deodex zip and be back to stock.....with the other zip you will be left with the remnants of framework-res.apk, blur-res.apk, moto-res.apk, and vending.apk as they will most likely have been modded for the theme you applied.

Here it is if you guys want to use it ;)

you sir are a gentleman and a scholar! I already flashed the deodexed version airmaxx linked but thats just cause I was in a hurry to test something, I was going to break it down this weekend and check it out but you just saved me the time and effort.

OK here is my situation. I'm on the new leak and deodexed using P3 version. My phone is running great but then again I don't use social widgets and stuff like that. My only problem is I cannot get WeatherBug Elite to work. It force closes every time saying (process com.aws.android.elite) has stopped unexpectedly.
This app has never in all the updates and flashed ROMs failed. I know some of you guys are using it with no problem. Hate to rebuild my new GB with Bouchigo's deodex just for this.
 
Hey, I installed the file from the OP, and everything is working great, but in settings/about phone, it still says system version 4.5.573? Anyone know why?

I had the same problem untill I loaded this version by P3 in post #2 DroidX Gingerbread 2.3.3(4.5.588) Install Patch with Root
 
i downloaded and installed gb on my x.....and now i want to root, is there a patch i can just apply?

system version:4.5.588.MB810.verizon.en.us
