Root Deodexed GingerBread 4.5.588

Did I completely wiff on this?? I thought the latest leak was a 3 zip process. Ok I'm into a combo of vodka and then a beer so go easy.

Update: Ok once I come out of my coma tomorrow I'm SBFing and starting over. I realy like GB.

Yes , he flashed the leak or leaked ota or whatever the f we can call it lol without using p3 three step method , p3 just put it into pre root status

Because there were changes made to framework and other areas.

Check this tweet by P3Droid from yesterday:

JUST an FYI, as with all updates, it is silly to apply old themes, ALL YOU DO IS REVERT YOUR BUILD BACK TO THE OLD BUILD ..#makesnodamnsense

Thanks for the deodex zip. I downloaded and flashed it. So far no problems.

If I do a nandroid of my present P3 three zip GB, then SBF, flash P3 new (latest update)three zip GB can I go into CWM Advance and restore data that was backed up in the nandroid? Does that make sense?

What I want to accomplish is install the newest P3 GB deodex using Bouchigo's zip and restore my complete setup from the original P3 GB.

Ok so I'm a little confused. I am still running the old rooted GB 4.5.573 now if I download this file I can just flash it over the old GB and I will be rooted and deodexed on the new GB?

no this zip is just to deodex after you already have the new rooted gb installed already
 
I'm not quite sure I understand what the 'install patch with root' is? I installed the non rooted version.....can I apply this update and then be rooted?

If you installed the non root version then you must sbf back to .340 then root, then download d2 recovery, then install the three part gb root zips that p3 provided then flash the deodex zip if you choose to flash themes etc, or if you don't want to mess with deodex you can wait until a rom will deodex for you upon installation

Is there still a free version of the D2 Bootstrap because I went into Koush's site and the link doesn't work.

Okay, before I brick my phone. I have the DX Monster 2.3.340 updater.zip so am I suppose to rename that to .sbf to flash back to froyo using RSDLite or am I suppose to do it a different way?
