Root DETAILED Leak Root Tutorial

i have droid eris leak 3 and windows 7
i went through all the steps and everything was working perfectly up until the end. i used the aloysius original updated version [ROM] Aloysius 2.0.1 and Snow with OC, Friendstream and APP2SD (7/2/10) - xda-developers

so i get to the last step to just select the reboot option and it did its thing but it gets stuck on the htc quietly brilliant thing and just stays there for like 30 secs and goes to black for about 2 seconds then back to htc quietly... it does it over and over and wont stop.

i have tried a bat pull and it did the same thing.
what do i do? should i choose a diff rom? can i even do that at this point? could it be that the rom just doesnt work on the eris

Go into recovery and try flashing it again or flashing a different rom if re flashing doesn't work

reflashed and it did the same thing ... so i did nand restore (probably not what i should have done since i now have to re-root but w/e about to do it all over again.

any suggestion on a sense based rom
 
Ok i have a issue.
I hard to partition my SD Card to try and get App2sd to work.
Followed the instructions, finished all the steps.
reboot the phone and it hangs at the "HTC Quietly brilliant" startup screen.
It gets there, screen flashes, then it stays there, screen flashes.. ect
So i figured no problem it's just taking its time, well like 10 mins later still nothing. So i figured time to reboot and go into recovery and do a nandroid restore.
Except my SD card is completely wiped out.

Figured no problem just hook the phone back up go into Android sdk tools, and do
ADB push to put the file onto the sd card, and restore it then.
except it's not working

Are you trying to use a froyo rom? If so Apps2sd will not work
