At the risk of sounding like a tool myself, I did notice that you seem a little flustered that people don't seem to be reading the OP. I would just like to quickly defend some of us more casual users in saying that the OP is not clear on what works or doesn't work other than saying "not much". I had the patience to read through all comments because I am so darn EXCITED!!! So I saw that calls/texts/wifi/etc are not working, but upon first glance at the OP it's easy to think this is a working ROM that just needs to be tweaked. Not everyone is familiar with what a pre-Alpha entails. Sometimes I think a lot of obvious/dumb questions can be avoided if the OP had a statement for people who aren't familiar with the lingo such as RIL, pre-Alpha, etc. There are a lot of us who are still learning and it would save you poor guys a lot of annoyance and hassle in answering redundant questions - a lot of people skip reading all comments for their answers, but most people read the OP. :)
 
I AM SO EXCITED!!! I stopped looking for ROMs after efforts for CM7 for the Esteem died and my heart broke. I paid a little over $300 for this phone and we share a mutual hatred for each other. I upgraded from a cheap Optimus M that ran CM7 beautifully. CM10 will change everything and finally make me feel like I wasn't a total idiot for buying this thing back in February.

Now if only there was a good fix for the SD card situation. I'm really raw about the fact that Google Music won't let us choose where our offline storage goes so we are limited to the small internal SD. I did change the lines to make my phone think my external is internal and vice versa so I can save my music offline, but I think that's probably why my phone hates me and lags and abuses me so badly. Anyway, I can't wait and thanks PG for not giving up on the Esteem.

I'm not trying to sound like a tool either.

This is the all things root forum; not the general forum. If people see a word they do not understand then they would do well to *look it up* or ask. It is not our fault or the op's fault if people don't know what they are doing or reading.

I can just imagine how well this would go over if the people went to a conference on quantum physics and complained because they didn't get the vocabulary and they were under the impression that a speaker meant that quantum foam is like soap suds.

It is the user's responsibility, as a user, to read and understand --ultimately.

Good lookin out with the link.... but i wasnt so much interested in what's workin or progress, I check in on the github as often as I can. More so interested in how the project is treating pg.... is she being a pita or doing what she's told :)
 
dam dude i can't wait no longer i gotta have this cm10 it's been a long time since i ran a cm rom and starting to feel like i can't wait no more...
 
I tgunk one pg gets ril abd sound fixed thilove into alpha.ts the holidays and pg does have a life and faily.hes proabaly spending time with em.just wait it out guys.
