No updates but an about to go work on it again herein a few after i get home from picking up the 7 year old. I will try to give you guys nightly updates about how three progress us coming. I am trying to get anything to get going on my end lol but i will let you all know later
 
Thank you guys so much I don't have a job but when I get one I will donate to you gentleman thank you for your hard work and time I appreciate the knowledge and your efforts on CM9 really do Thank you so much
 
As of right now I am attempting to fix the sound and WiFi. Mobile Data and WiFi both dont work. You have cellular signal for phone calls and text messages(No MMS Due To No Data Signal) but have not confirmed text messages as working because we haven't bothered getting the keyboard working yet either. We are actually thinking that we may have WiFi working here soon. Am looking into the modules for this as we speak and will hopefully have that very soon. I think I may have sound working also within a few days so there is progress being made, just not as fast as everyone wants LoL along with me and PG. That will be the nightly update. I told everyone I would try to give a nightly update and this is all right now.

Progress is a slow process. Like biggie said "any update is a good update." Even a small post like "Still working on it" is great. :)

When i messed with the last POC release, i had GO keyboard installed and did not wipe data. The keyboard for that worked and wasnt laggy. Apps i previously had installed worked as well (a.k.a angry birds space, adw launcher ex, go keyboard and go sms). Just fruit for thought.
 
Yea were are aware, the launcher us the biggest thing right now with it being laggy. It is still definitely slow with it on there but no where NEAR where it was with the stock launcher
 
So whens it gonna be done? I have an extra 20 bucks I won on a scratch off can I send it to speed this up? I have Mountain Dew and Reese peanutbutter cups I can send if it'll help keep you up to work on it. Also I buy monsters and 5hours by the case (I literally do Ahaha) if that'll help too! :D:p;););)

as far as im concerned if wifi is fixed and sms gets working as well as phone call and the launcher is less laggy i can work with it. I dont stream a lot of stuff anyway and no data will save my batterylife on the move. And its more then acepible as far as im concerned in exchange of ics. I gota send yall some stuff. Ill make sure to do it next week wehn im not broke. lol
 
The App menu does not work in settings for what we believe is the external SD card not mounting along with improper signal which gives barely any signal where i ask usually herring at least 3-full bars also. Also, need to okay with PG before posting any updates due to his servers.

Maybe you could have the system apps be optimized with all the other apps at startup or maybe take the apk file from a thread on xda and just replace it incase its something built incorrectly?

Well, it is actually the settings from CMs source. NOW, what stinks for the App Manager through Settings is that even if we replace APKs it shouldnt help us get the SD Card mounted in any way. We are not using any third party apps with the CM9 build except for my Root Explorer along with a third party launcher of my choice. And I can not guarantee an upload tonight to be honest. We are both working on it right now though, waiting for boot up right now actually LoL
 
i got it to boot today and from what i could see it look bad to the bone its gonna be the best rom i have seen for any phone...lol i messed my pants...sorry.. but for reals it was nice.. i teased myself that ain't cool warning if you have been waiting for this aslong as i have DO NOT FLASH until the stable version is out don't play with your emotions..i did and it sucked :D
 
Well, apparently i am the one who gives the updates now which is fine with me. i am done working on this for the night so will give the nightly update. Not much but what needs to be done now is lag issues, SD card mounting(which will probably be the fix for CM7 mounting issues as well) and the rest of the radios working(and cellular signal reading properly) along with any problems that may arise our we have not found yet.
