Slug has already posted but let me just remind EVERYONE, No One is forcing anyone else to respond to those posts. There will ALWAYS be 'can I get a ETA' posts. As much as we want to stop it someone will always ask. Ignore or answer as politely as possible but DO NOT demean the user.

Is there anyway to lock the Thread so PG can only post to it? I'm really annoyed with seeing "What is the ETA" on here. People are so lazy and will not read.

I just think letting PG post in here updates would be the best thing to do. That would stop the stupid questions. People don't understand... the more PG has to Stop and answer Stupid Questions... is time he could be working on the ROM.

He could start a thread, have it locked intentionally and update the post whenever he wants. That way what he edits into the OP will only thing that shows.

PG would have to have a mod lock it. I like my idea of an official thread for updates, then a discussion thread for all of the (stupid) questions. It'd make it easier to track pg's progress because you wouldn't have to dig through 100's of posts trying to find one by PG. It might actually reduce the stupid questions a bit because people could actually find his updates, negating the need of asking for updates.

I don't think PG is interested in answering the stupid questions, but I would imagine checking out the posts gives him a break, and perhaps a little entertainment.

Ive flashed all the rom's out there, and personally, his black plague rom suits me fricken fantastically.

When cm9 is done, everyone will know about it, it will be blown up all over Google. It will not be a secret. But hell, when I flash it, I may say, its not for me, and ill be right back at black plague.

I personally think asking an ETA should be reserved for those who have the knowledge and ability to help troubleshoot whereever the man is stuck.

But don't ask me... I m we Tod did

Exactly. Which is why I think an ETA is stupid. So we get told it will be done in 2 weeks. What good does that do? Are we gonna lay out our prayer rug and pray for 2 weeks until it's done and hope it's going to be amazing? lol. An eta does nothing. The world will know when it's done, that I can promise.

Now this thread is going off topic again lol. It's even worse to complain about eta's. People gotta stop replying and that's it.
 
This is basically the discussion thread, I will most likely post a new Thread like my other ROMs when its in a usable state. ;)

And yes, normally when I am posting I am bored, have a build compiling, or bored, or generally just dont feel like doing much. ;)

I also read around n post help in general esp on my stuff. ;)

oh and of course my beloved smartass remarks ;)

The issue at hand is that people are just to lazy to read Previous post From This tread To find out if there is an update or not! Now if there was a way to put a description telling people to read the whole tread oh wait thats not going to happen if they don't read the whole tread in the first place :P
