Root {DISCONTINUED}MegaTron 6.2.5 (Updated 7/13/13)

Switching from 3G to Wi-Fi and back is not working automatically, I have to switch them manually regardless if I am using toggle switches. Once I have Wi-Fi working I should be getting a 15MB download provided by TWC, it is at roughly 8MB and my upload is exactly 1MB per TWC.

Any thoughts or ideas?

i've heard about the wifi and 3g issue not switching properly. nothing i can do since i no longer have the phone. IF you are wondering why you only get 8mb down and 1mb up on wifi when twc states you should be getting 15mb down, its not an issue with the phone. you're never gonna get that true 15 mb download, besides servers ont he web no matter what you're donwloading has a download mb limit speed. the highest i've ever gone on a phone is like 1.5mb tops on a computer i've gotten 2.3mb

i still got the phone where would i start looking to fix the issue

Reboot and try opening online backup again. Online backup allows you to backup your phone without booting into cwm.the Toogle settings is grayed out because that feature isnt supported at the moment.

Yup I've been using it for 2 years lol .. didn't really start having phone problems until recently and I was rooting and installing a rom for my gf so I figured I would revisit my phone and see what roms were available and found this thread ;)
 
Gotta question, I had to let my phone turn off for a couple months, paid the bill last week and for the first 3 days I wasn't able to get on the net, I was able to make and receive call/messages, There's to many pages to read using my phone, I Figured I just ask, So had to use a different Rom for now, but I LOVE Megaton way way better, so I really don't know what happened, So was this an old issue that has been fixed or Can sum1 let me know what I should do?

What carrier are you on and what version are/we're you running?
 
ok so I've run into a slight problem. When i reboot my phone .. all of my shortcuts disappear from my home screen when i boot back up. I had gone through the stage in the setup to use Link2SD and it seems that sometimes the shortcuts .. and sometimes even the apps themselves do not want to register as installed. I have to reboot a couple times until the apps come back .. but the shortcuts never come back, have to place them there manually every reboot. Anyone else running into this problem?
 
I've installed the ROM, but don't see any of the Google apps, including the Play Store app.
I also don't see them listed in the Removed Apks zip file.

Where can I get these?
 
What files? Just the ones from the instructions in the first step? Got the same problem. Except I really did it. I used the Titanium "trick the CWM" thing too. Couldn't get rid of it with any thing. re-install Link2sd, a no go.
 
Hello all. This forum has helped me for three years now. I got to admit there was a tough learning curve , but when you troubleshoot until your eyes bleed[/COLOR], it is that much more satisfying when it works. And, boy does it work! This rom boots your phone, media scans and all, in two minuets it seems. I used to push power and go do something else to wait for it to be all the way up. This one I can watch boot before a commercial break is over. The google search updated correctly. Everything is super fast. Still going with Halo launcher. Can't wait to figure out the tether. I've established the ADB bridge before, and I think I need to do it again for, and maybe download something to my PC. Themes are also going to be a early holiday gift. $ on the way for your hard work. I echo the others' comments, "It's like a new phone!" :secruity: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

chev were u guys able to get uot kitchen fix?
and is safe to either remove omg dcsms or freeze with titanium?


well i just did a quick uot and just changed status bar color to see if worked and it does work
gonna go on and do full theme and check it out

Yeah it does, some things in the statusbar might not be themed since it has to be done manually but everything else yes UOT will theme it whatever u want. Its not safe to freeze OMG Dcsms, it powers the statusbar. You're still rolling with the Ultra?
 
haha yeah still rolling with the ultra funny things is im getting my daughter a galaxy s3 for Christmas it hurts me just typing that

what/where is the boot sound file plz and thanks?
 
I Finaly decided to break down and buy a S3. Proud owner! Still not getting rid of my TU though. Been working on a few things(updates to odin & cwm) in my spare time wich is scarce these days. But hopefully soon.
