I am still looking for that myself. Its not in its normal place. Been looking for about two weeks.

press anywhere on ur homescreen
pick "custom shortcut"
hit "pick your activity"
second from the top, "activities"
hit the expand button next to the phone icon (on my phone its the first option)
scroll down and hit "Roaming (roaming settings)"
hit ok
tap on the phone icon created on your homescreen
uncheck all boxes then exit out
stop doing R2D2 impersonations in the elevator
 
My sister wants me to install MegaTron on her Sprint TU....Will I need to start with 6.0 and work my way to .4? If so where can I find the older install zips?
 
I'm just wondering before I flash this...
Does the 3g, wifi, and everything else work on this? And are there any things that don't work right now? Thanks a lot. I just got this phone (again) and I don't want to partition and restore just to go back to a backup again. Thanks!
 
ok ive tried searching the forum but no luck....

i just flashed the megatron rom last night on my wifes transform ultra, well 1st issue when i turn wifi on 3g doesnt turn off, and programs such as the rom updater wont detect the wifi signal until i turn 3g data off myself. 2nd issue was going out of wifi range with it still on, 3g wouldnt work till i manually turned wifi off, and turned data off and on myself

any help would be greatly accepted, im new to this forum, but im good on xda with my evo 4g lte, with viper4g rom :D

1st " issue" is not an issue for me... i have the same issue , it doesn't turn 3g off automatically when you turn Wi-Fi on and the other way around , you have to do it manually (is only one extra step that's all) maybe we get a fix for it... :D

2nd "issue" sry never happened to me so can't tell ya :D

Thanks for bringing it up since no one have ...it always help dev in what to look , for futures update

None of that had ever happened to me with any rom I have installed. I'm pretty sure I have tried them all for the TU. sorry can't help either.

so you telling me that both of my phones had the same problem since i switch to this rom :confused: anyway i don't mind doing it manually

What i have notice is IF the network I'm trying to connect is saved on my phone and i turn Wi-Fi on then my phone will choose Wi-Fi instead of 3g, but 3g will still run on the background ... if your are able to turn both Wi-Fi and data on ,on your drop down menu then either one is not turning off automatically. See pic below

I take back the post before this one ... sry is an issue than my bad... lmao

EDIT: Nvm, I found it, it's in /data/system directory on internal memory, if you delete that file it'll clear your gmail account without performing a factory reset allowing you to either create or set another gmail account on your phone wiithout having to resetup everything else on your phone... This is useful if you want to create and use a new or different account on your phone without having multiple accounts logged in. Hope this is helpful to you guys... :D

Well my wife won't like it to much cuz its her phone, but I love a good reflash lol. Been on viper4g for me EVO 4glte since 1.0.0 now on 2.0.2 lol, but looking into flashin cm10 hehe
 
My phone does this too, but I've noticed that while it looks like 3g is still on, it doesn't do anything while I'm on wifi. If I go out of wifi range, and I need to use the phone, I turn data off, wait 1-2 seconds, then back on and give it 3-5 seconds to connect, then all's good again until the next time I move into and then back out of wifi range.

I've been thinking about starting fresh by nuking all data off the phone and reflashing 6.0.4, but am a little hesitant because I'm not a fan of the backup/restore process, as well as losing the tidbits that sometimes get lost due to oversight (such as text messages, call history, account and phone settings, etc).

I'm pretty sure is been always like that , i just wipe my other phone and reflash but still the same ...

@Slayer, man we need a copy of your megatron ...( just kidding ) :D

Mine done the same too. I think its supposed to be like that. Whenever I activate wifi the 3g button stays on but I'm pretty sure its off.
