Root [DISCONTINUED][ROM][5.1.1][MS345] Unofficial CyanogenMod 12.1 for LG Leon

Must have been a bad download.
Also. Stock package is way too big for our phones as the internal memory is pretty small.
Mini, Micro, or Pico TKGapps are the recommended Gapps to use.
Always had problems with tk gapps I use open gapps with absolutely no problem

Sounds like you just did a factory reset. I tried that and flashed CM and had bugs. Do a factory reset and then advanced wipe. Should get rid of issues.

Hey everyone. Hope all is well in the lives of you all. Just wanted to put some info out to the devs. So recently I've been using a few apps with heavy location usage and I noticed a HUGE spike in random reboots. Like multiple per hour. With google maps, it reboots if I open maps with location off then turn it on while the app is open, and re-open the app. Since installing tinder ;D the reboots skyrocketed and at first I thought it was due to low amnt of free ram but I really think it has to do with location access or something along those lines. I've tried to get a catalog but have yet to be successful. I'm on clean flashed 9-05 build and have been using it as my daily driver for a while now. Sorry for the lack of details but as a generic user that is just what I noticed. Hope you all have a safe and wonderful day/night.

I had the same issues with the 0905 build then I dirty flashed 0906 and have no more reboots or GPS issues.

Unless explicitly stated never expect things to be abandoned. I've just been taking an extended break working on the LG G4. I plan to work on the Leon and Stylo in a week or two.
That's great news! If you don't have a device and you need logs or specific things tested be sure to let us know! This is a great device that I picked up for 29$ from MetroPCS and it seems I made a great choice. Thanks for you work on our phones.

Good to know. I was getting a little worried there for a minute.
I know I sound like a broken record, but any chance of an o/c kernel in the near future? Voltage control? Dt2w return? I'm aware it may be a niche request with its impact on battery life etc etc, but it would seriously make an amazing low-end device keep up with its higher end brethren.
As it stands, CM has made this beast worth even keeping with my badly cracked (yet still fully functional) digitizer. This thing can seriously take a beating, am I right?!

I second the hopes for a custom OC UC Kernel for this device. It seams like it could definitely help us control the overheated & overworked battery temp issues and such. Could really use an intellaplug kernel. & the best man I know for that task would be the Kernel Wizard himself, MR. DM!

Hope BCRichster doesn't mind my leaking this tidbit of info here but I've linked him another nandroid of the stock ROM for this device and he's going to deodex and I'm sure somewhat debloat and mod the ROM like he had done with my ZTE Concord 2 Nandroid. Not to put him on the spot but we may even see an init.d scripted Kernel for this bugger aswell. Not an OC UC kernel, but maybe-MAYBE cause I can't speak for the man. But he's good and fast at what he does. I'm proud to say I've been testing some of his work and uploading my nandroids for his modded stock deodexed and debloated ROMs. I'm sure he will have a link to download and flash within the thread or somthin soon all! Not to get too ahead of myself here as far as this concerns him. But please give bcrichster a big thank you/like when he gets done and posts the link to his excellent work!!!

Ah, he's beating me to it. Ive planned on deodexing and ripping apart stock now that I have access to a PC and linux. Done it for the zte awe and HTC desire 510, figured we needed more love over here.

Got the Nandroid down, will be working on it tonight. Anyone know the init.d staus of this CM ROM?

hello everyone, new to the forums.

getting the "patching system image unconditionally" freeze when i flash this rom.
using the TWRP 2.8.7.0 for MS345. rooted with the ms34510d/kingroot method then replaced with SuperSu.
i can restore my backup perfectly fine and flash other zip files but no matter what, this one freezes at the "patching system image unconditionally" part. how does one fix this?

also should mention ive tried the 09-05 and 09-06 nightly builds.

Make sure you're using the blue TWRP and not the yellow. They're the same version number but different. You can't flash CM on the yellow version.

Try and reflash TWRP but do it from ADB on a PC. You're formatting and erasing everything except external SD right? And there should be an error after the patching system line. Post the lines before and after that if it still doesn't work. It might be that it doesn't have enough space. The partitions might be the wrong filesystem or it could be faulty downloads. Try the latest build and make sure its the correct phone and before flashing verify the MD5 sum.

okay let me make sure i get this right the first time lol:

flash recovery via adb, this is done in download mode im assuming? since theres no "fastboot"

when i format, i wipe Data, Cache/Dalvik, and System. i do not wipe the internal because i currently do not have an external SD card.

i never get the error line after the patching, the blue bar fills up and it just stays that way. if i plug my phone into the computer, it detects it and lets me browse the internal storage.

what filesystem should the partitions be? and if space is a possible issue, how much should i have available, as i tried to do this after fresh system setup on stock [no apps downloaded, no gmail account even added]

If U have any issues slow internet etc. Wipe system as well then flash ROM and gapps. & I myself always flash updated SU Zip. Rom, Gapps, SU zip in that order
