No I hear ya bro. & I had some higher hopes myself for the development on & for this device buuuuuut I myself feel the Leon is kind of a headache in which battery life is just WAAAAAY!!! to scarce to deal with. Its not worth owning in my opinion. Not to mention thus far LP custom ROMs (atleast as far as this device is concerned) are just to "bootloopy" & again LG did a horrible job on its battery life. Androids I ran 5 years ago had better batt life. But I totally understand you're frustration bro!!!! I'm on you're side here all the way

Where are you getting all this bad battery life? i get 4-5 hours SOT easily, unless you have brightness on max it shouldnt be that bad
 
No I turn my brightness down. But ya my boy gets a full day of non stop use on his ZTE WarpSync in which I'll be picking up thu. 4-5 hours is hardly ideal to me as the hard user I am. I need at least a day out of a device bar-none. & I've owned two of these Leons. The same day I got my first Leon I noticed my nearly year old LG Optimus F6, also from metro had much better battery life. Should have/be the other way around. No biggie switching from metro to boost and am grabbing a ZTE WarpSync Thursday!!!

The same boot loop and into recovery happened for me. Did you find any solutions for this?

I installed on my T-Mobile device with 10F! Did the "one click leon root" referenced a few pages back, and it worked beautifully. Installed the 906 build. HOLY MOTHER is it faster than stock! The phone actually feels useable now!

Only downside is that the video camera doesn't work...and now i tested.....GPS totally doesn't work either. Maybe if I can get the 905 kernel to boot up though.

I wonder if i just repackage the 905 kernel in the archive for the 906...maybe that'll work.

Yep. Installed 906 and tried to flash 905 kernel. Resulted in 3 lg logo flashes followed by twrp boot. Went back to 906 kernel and it booted. Now I'm completely on 905 running fine.

No I'm just saying I didn't know/think this device had a custom kernel.

Full wipe, I came off stock ROM. And cam works like a charm!!!
woops!!! disregard that! I thought this was my ZTE WarpSync thread my bad! .... But ya I fully wiped for 12.1 CM too. Im just in the habit of fully wiping. & ya cam worked fine for me on Leon too. I'm not on the Leon anymore but I keep an eye on its thread to help out here & there as needed.

I started from stock 10f. Went to 905 build. Can works. Video only works if going to internal storage. Trying to go to SD card results in a couldn't connect to camera error.

GPS works for me maybe one of of every 8 tries. Otherwise it soft reboots.

Neither camcorder or GPS worked for me on the 906 build.

When installing the 905 build, before you reboot (while still in TWRP) make sure to Mount system, navigate to there and delete the files mentioned on page 20(or there about)

You're welcome!! I should really set up my laptop to try and help fix these bugs!!! Any pointers on where to go to get my machine set up properly? (Too lazy to look up at the moment.

This would be my first foray into android Dev!! Did a bunch of webOS work...that was fun!
 
acctualy yes i do know a few download the tree and model info from original post download andriod kitchen, sdk tools java something google how to creat roms most of the sites have programs for flashable zips and a kdz exstracter and go from there thats all i know sir

Thanks! I did grab the tree the other day. I'll have to either get a Linux VM set up, or (more likely) dual boot my win10 with Ubuntu. Found lots of good info on CM's website. I'll have to go find one of those kdz extractors!

Edit: got Ubuntu dual booting with Windows 10. Decided to grab AOSP from Google to see if I could get it to compile. Then I'll grab the cm12.1 tree for the Leon.

Also got the 10f kdz from lg. Haven't extracted it yet.

I have the LG RISIO (LeonLTE sister phone) and was wondering if someone here would help get a working recovery for the Risio and Cyanogenmod....I have root with Kingroot & Super-sume.
