    • Download .zip and save to sdcard
    • Boot to recovery
    • Wipe Data/Factory Reset
    • Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
    • Install CM12 zip via New TWRP
    • Reboot

LEPT-Development can u please use your awesome skills for the Kyocera hydro life... It is a popular phone low budget and behind in root and roms... We have root but a locked bootloader :( this would be greatly appreciated by many hydro users... But I am excited to use this rom as the Leon in my next purchase if nothing happens with the hydro... It's not fun having a phone u can only download launchers for.. Sucks up precious memory we could save in a room, plus some...

You'll need to flash the new TWRP recovery located in 1st post.

Install it on stock then tell me if it works lol. Of course it works on cm, cm doesnt have fundamental changes to system apps or ART runtime such as OEM manufacturers like to do (I'm looking at you, Samsung.)

It breaks WiFi, front camera, and video recording in stock ROM.

Now back on topic, Cm12 is awesome. Let's all thank @Noobified for building for a device he doesn't even own.
 
First off, thank you LEPT team for your work. I appreciate the effort and look forward to this cm build. I am new to twrp and have a quick question... Has ANYONE become 100% bricked from a mixture of not following instructions and installing this rom? I really hate the stock BS on this device and just want to have a nice barebones CM rom, but I am too puss to try this while its in the stage it is and risk bricking my phone while i need it for work as well as play. I guess my questions are:

1) Has anyone that has experienced a brick or bootloop state while installing/using this rom NOT been able to fix somehow
(basically is there potential to permanently ruin my phone)

2) IK this question may not have an answer yet but will the next update be ready within the next seek or two? I feel like it would be counterproductive to install this one when i would just be installing the next one in a few days or weeks.

Updates can come whenever the dev has time to work on it. Could be days, weeks, or (in the case of the first few releases) hours. Its not uncommon for a new release to just pop up without warning.
While we have tools to restore a phone from a brick if one were to occur, there's no risk while flashing this ROM. Always best to make a TWRP backup beforehand anyway. You really can't break this phone so long as you have a PC should anything happen.
Take the plunge man. Don't be such a puss :-P
 
I love this ROM. I can live with the battery bug since the León gives great battery life I doubt it'll ever reach %25 before I charge ir, but the lack of vídeo is killing me! I want my Snapchat! Will check daily for uldates. Thanks to everyone involved.
 
I dunno if its just me,but when i flash cm12 my mac address gets changed to something other than what it is on stock.
 
Ok this will be my final post here on this thread. We can't get a fully working ROM for this phone. I think I will switch back to my F6 because it can work any ROM built for it. Besides on that device I can run a custom ROM with a custom kernel and be able to run Pandora on it. This CM ROM can't even play Pandora, I can do it on stock but not on the custom ROM. I want this ROM to work better but I think it needs more work and attention.

I'm willing to bet they didn't have a fully working ROM in 2-3 weeks it takes time. Have fun as I'm tired of staying up late 6-7am for free and all I see is negative feedback. If you were in the my position you would understand how hard it is to work without a device in hand.

Set up a Linux VM and set up a build environment, get you a git and sync some sources and crank one out real quick that's milestone or RC quality. [emoji57] ...we'll be waiting.

You are the exact reason devs give up on devices. Quit being so GD demanding! Building a ROM, even with just the bare essentials working to boot, takes time. Fixing the issues after getting it to boot is a whole other project. This ROM has been out for a whole week and a half from a developer who is simultaneously working on 4+ devices at once, plus building TWRP, plus building kernels, plus looking into user feedback on all these projects and probably has a full time job on top of it all.
Want a fully working build? Then build it! While your at it find the Holy Grail and the cure for Cancer. Nothing is perfect, not even your precious F6 ROMs. And pay for your music, cheap jerkwad. Then at least your contributing to someone who works hard for what they do for people to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Go back to your crappy Optimus, we don't need your negativity here

I can somewhat agree with this post. Unfortunately, there will always be people who demand (he hasn't yet) or constantly ask for ETA's like he has been doing but, in my opinion, just ignore it. If he/anyone else decides to insult, be passive. Not everyone understands the stress a developer goes through until they take the plunge themselves.

To everyone: This stuff isn't easy, and if you think it is, you obviously know nothing about development ;)

Its not about the ETA, its that he hasn't even given you a CHANCE to work on it. Its been only over a week since its release and because you have other business to attend to its "well, your not paying enough attention to this phone."
Sorry, I've been watching SGDQ2015 and all the crap people are giving the runners (especially for the simple reason that some of them are FEMALE) has gotten me sick of seeing all the negative comments. People just can't/won't grow up.
