i do believe there are other worlds than ours with life, i believe its mathematically impossible for there not to be. although i also believe we as a species will likely destroy the earth before we encounter other life forms.

i seriously hope your rite there, however as a former serving soldier i have seen some of the worst that humanity is capable of.
 
You gotta define the term "alien" to people. It isn't E.T. or Mars Attacks kinda stuff. It's simply life elsewhere in the universe. I think there is, even on a minuscule level. Bacteria counts as life, right? There has to be some on planets in this solar system alone. I can't imagine there not being any in other galaxies. The odds of only one planet in something so freaking big having the only life in the universe....I dunno. I doesn't seem probable.

Look at this and if you still think no life exists out of all these possible places, you're not being rational:

I think it would be arrogant for us to deny existance of any other life and assume we are the only ones in this MASSIVE place. I guess that's the human race all over, thinking they are the centre of everything.

I'm a massive skeptic, but I think if people were to take away the stereotypical view of the term "alien" created by films and then look at the raw facts about the universe, they would be far more inclined to consider the idea of life on other planets.

The Drake Equation. There's loads of life. It's perfectly plausible that there's none, but the universe, even just our galaxy, is so large, there must be extra-terrestrial life.
 
I wonder if perhaps if aliens were to find us, they would consider us to be "stupid". lol I can imagine on their planet, we basically have the same mental capacity as their "dogs". I really like linguistics, so probably what I would do if I was to enter another "Earth" would be to study their language(s) and see what similarities and differences they're like to ours and how it works on society.

Lol considering the constant wars and famine going on around the world, I wouldn't be surprised that they would be able to take over our planet without a fight :rolleyes: I would always joke with my brother about if an alien comes to Earth, that they would automatically think that we are ugly creatures, even though they would probably look like this :D

So err yes, I believe. Same as I believe in UFO's, an object in the air, yet to be identified.

Do I believe in life outside of Planet Earth?
Most certainly, didn't they already find signs of life on Mars and on Jupiter’s Moon Europa?

If you put the universe into perspective and realise that our solar system represents one grain of sand out of all the sand on planet earth that makes it pretty hard to believe that life does not exist elsewhere and also explains why it would be so hard for us to 'run into them'.

Do I believe in life as intelligent or of greater intelligence than us?
Although it's likely that the universe is abundant in non-intelligent life given the size and age of the universe it's quite conceivable that there is intelligent life aswell.
 
I'm (almost) 100% positive that aliens exist in the universe and that life is probably common. I'm only slightly less confident that intelligent (self aware) life exists, and is common.

I am much less sure, however, that we have been visited by aliens, it's very much a possibility, but I think it's a little unlikely.
 
It's statistically impossible for us to be the only life forms in the entire universe. Are they flying around Earth abducting rednecks and sticking probes up their asses? Probably not.

How do you know? o.O

Who knows? They could not have the ability to hear because they have a different way of processing sound. Or they perceive sound as something different... like having the ability to see sound waves and they hear by sight.
 
I actually use to work on area 51, I have spoken to aliens before and I speak 8 different alien languages.

Now that I have told you that I will have to.................... ask you to please not tell anyone else my secret
