Do you pocket or case your DX?

I haven't put a phone in a case in a few years, just pocket works fine. And right now I have a skin from skinit.com. I never use screen protectors and never have had a damaged screen.

I case it at work because I'm a Painting Contractor and after work I pocket it..I do have a screen protector though.

I have a case, skin, and pocket it. Just trying to keep the resale of my phone high when I sell it. I do this with all my phones. lol

I have a silicon case, which, I hate, but doesnt make the phone that much bigger, plus, I want to make sure its protected from anything like a slight drop, etc. But even with that case, its still small enough to pocket.

oh, and I do have a screen protector too. Going to make sure this phone lasts, unlike my old HTC Imagio which just fell to pieces after a year of use, the hardware was flimsy and crap

You will find that MOTOs build quality is much much better than HTC. I dropped my Droid several times and it was always fine

I have a case, put it in my pocket, use a screen protector, and keep it in a zip lock freezer baggie during working hours as I have a pool cleaning business. And since I haven't read a thread yet that says that this thing has a swimming mode to it, the freezer baggie is mandatory. ;)

I pocket mine, but I also have a full body skin on it.

I have the silicon case which I used before getting the skin, but I like the phone better without it.

Haven't gotten mine quite yet, but I plan on doing the same thing with it that I do with my iPhone: case, screen protector, pocket.

$5.99 snap on outer-covering, skinomi screen protecter, then into my pocket. My Nokia E71 collected dust under the glass, so I hope that doesn't happen with the Droid X. I have a sea-line case on order for kayaking, beach and other outdoor activities. You might be able to squeeze it in an Otterbox i1015 with a little rubber trimming, but I digress...

pocket, screen always in toward my leg (dont really know why), and NOTHING else ever goes in that pocket. i dont use cases or screen protectors, but i take really good care of my phone. i also have a droid 2 (and one other android phone), but whichever one i'm carrying goes in a pouch on my belt (unless i am wearing cargo shorts).
