My Bionic is on the official 905 version but I am rooted. Will the OTA update work and if yes will I still be rooted?

Yes, you should look in the all things root section to reroot

I don't think so. I was on .902 rooted when .905 was released and it got pushed to me no problem, but I had to re-root.

From what I have read you have to unfreeze everything that you had frozen. You could get more information at ... Bionic - All Things Root - Android Forums.

When someone creates a downloadable zip, then of course, you can flash it.

Kansas, makes sense, take a look at a map, it is smack dab in the middle of the country! Home of Dwight Eisenhower.

Since the West is 2 hours away we will like get our update very soon, last time the update came out it showed up on the second morning.

I've heard that the distribution is random.

Cell coverage is quite good where I live in central Kansas. We have electricity and indoor plumbing, too!

Can someone on 246 go to settings, more, mobile networks, network mode and tell me what options are there?

Network mode is greyed out but says the following...

Preferred network mode: LTE/CDMA

Mine came through yesterday about this time. Sure is different! LOL I wasn't sure how to answer a call at first.
A little dissapointed the Dialer and Contacts are now totally separate. I liked having just one icon for them.

I dont blame you. That sucks. the only device I have with jellybean is a tablet so I didn't know that ice cream Sandwich was going to split up the dialer contacts .

Have you tried headphones with ICS on your bionic yet? someone else said that the headphone whine is back since they updated ICS

It is just the soak... I would think the real ota will start this week..
