Sounds very similar to how the 5.9.905 OTA came out. The released it to a few people who had not signed up for the soak test at the same time the soak test went out.

A few days later they started pushing the OTA in to all users in batches.

Hey guys.

Been waiting just like all of you guys for this long overdue update. Just wanted to know if I should unroot before accepting the OTA update. (Haven't gotten it yet btw)

I'm still on stock ROM and I just use the root for a few apps (screenshot, etc.)

Attaching my system info just in case it helps.

I think the OTA will be released to the public next week, maybe early next week. The soak is ending this weekend.

Actually Razr doesn't have CDMA as an option. It has LTE/CDMA which means if it's in a 4G area, go to 4G, if not, go to 3G, which is CDMA on Verizon's network. No way to force it into CDMA, or 3G, only.

Of course I have a feeling it's likely the Razr's will be getting their ICS fix pretty soon since it was their buggy ICS release that held up our ICS. Will be interesting to see if those options are gone in it. If Verizon is taking them out of the Bionic, I doubt they will leave them in other phones, at least phones they don't charge a huge amount for to have that ability.
 
Um actually All Verizon phones operating on the Verizon network are operating on cdma all the time. All calls and sms occur on cdma. This is why voice always works on 4g phones. No carrier is using voice over lte. Data can go either way but follows voice service. If the phone is on gsm for voice, data follows. If there is compatible lte, data could use that too.

I don't know about that. All I am saying is if you check the option list in the current version of the Razr's OS, there is no option to go CDMA only, it's LTE/CDMA.
 
Been checking like 5 times a day since the announcement. Checked an hour ago, and nothing. Just checked now, and BAM! D/L now.
 
Is taking forever. Maybe, I should have waited to post after I fully D/L it. Don't want other people stealing my bandwidth. People in SoCal, wait 30 minutes to D/L it. That should give me enought time to finish. jk :P
 
Checked 10 min ago... nothing. Just looked 10 sec ago. BOOM! Downloading now.

Getting pissed. Hit 2 percent and stopped. Now for 30+ mins has said download suspended, will resume shortly. It also said download sudpended, will resume during wifi/??? Down time. What the heck is going on?

Got the exact same message at 2%. Nothing makes it resume. Tried 3g, 4g, wi fi, all of the above.

My wife's down loaded just fine and is installing now.

I am so pissed at this right now the only thing I can do is go to bed before this phone goes for a Test flight off my deck. :banghead:
 
I installed and got the an update is being downloaded you'll be notified when ready or whatever and haven't been notified. How long does that take because nothing is shown being downloaded?
 
From what I can tell, I can't see anything in my notification bar unless I turn on my wi fi. Then it says suspended and will resume shortly. And that's bs cause gtdtaddm suspended at 2% now for almost 2 hours.

My wife started the download at the same time as me and she is fully installed, and up and running ICS. this phone has always been shit compared to hers and I am more than tired and done with this.
