That's true too. For anyone that needs AirCard with unlimited LTE this is really the only option. It's as fast as home internet connection but on the go. And if you travel a lot, it's priceless. I actually downgraded my home internet because of that.
Good point. My friend, who works for the Fish and Wildlife Department, goes out of the country at least once a month as part of a team that helps other nations with their wildlife departments, and Alaska as well. So he needs something like that.
But I think that the majority of us, myself included, don't travel all that much, and if we do, it's rarely out of the country. That's why I don't care if it's a world phone or not.
Now, the possibility that our unlimited 4G will some day be capped or slowed down like the poor idiots over at AT&T, that does scare me a bit. I do tether at times, but only when the wifi signal is out for some reason. It's a rare occasion.
However, and this is a huge however, I do plan to use the Netflix app. Not every day or anything, but sometimes I find myself waiting somewhere or really bored, and I know I'll want to use it. Netflix is going to eat up a LOT of GBs. I don't get how Verizon can get mad if we download a lot, knowing that apps like Netflix are going to be such hogs.
Either they'll get rid of the Netflix app in their phones, or they'll just grin and bare it.
