Droid Game Pad - Game Gripper

Wow, thats a great idea! I'm surprised no one else has though of this! This would make me love using the emulators on my Droid. Right now i just like it because the controls never work out just right, but this would make it awesome!
 
Wow. impressive. I think its a great idea. how does the other side of the game gripper look like? How does it press on the keys? U should patent that product if u havent already. anyways, u can always use ebay or craiglist if u dont have a distributor yet. anyways, these forums are a good way to market. at least for now.


Edit: lol I sent u a pm asking how much it was and it dawned on me duh... he gave a link. The first time I went on your website I went directly to the youtube vid and got too excited haha. See! How awesome ur product is?!?:D
 
The other side is just recessed a little; the buttons just push the buttons on your keypad. It is a very simple design but still took an incredible amount of time and money to get the tooling made. I applied for a patent and I have posted it on ebay but not CL. Thanks for the praise. I have a lot riding this and its nice to know that people besides me like it.

I fully agree.

Black and Gold to really match the color scheme of the Droid (but Black and Red would look good too)

I'd probably buy one if there are plans to revisit the little details. Hell I might buy one even if it doesn't change.
 
Wow...Amazing...I'm not really into gaming that much on my Droid, but this will make me play those great emulators...I'm buying one this payday man...Nice job...
 
Getting one this weekend. I always restricted myself to take-turn games on the Droid because it's painful to try and press buttons quickly on that tiny keypad. No more! :)
 
I just ordered one. Can't wait to play emulators!

I hope the build quality is half decent. :)
Did you do it in white cause it's cheaper?

Good word of mouth would be huge, provided how well it works (I hope it is good!). Demand could be high for such an add-on. Please consider being as modular as possible in the design & molds, since other devices could also use this down the road too. Nexus Enterprise and Shadow come to mind ;)

I already want one and have not even got a Droid yet. Incredible looks tempting, but I can not shake the lack of a keyboard. Best bet seems a rooted Droid with 800mhz OC. Your product would be butter on the biscuit :)
 
This thing is pretty sweet! I agree on the previous comments about the color and price, but overall I'm very impressed!

+1 million on this... you gotta rock the DROID motif of black/red. I mean c'mon, this is a no brainer :) Awesome add-on. I just buzzed this to my followers. Hopefully that'll give you some word of mouth advertising. Make it black, and I'll pick one up in a second!
 
id pay $30 if it did everything through the mini usb port. i dont use my keyboard all the time but this constant button mashing doesnt sound too good for it.

anyways still good looking product man :)
 
GREAT idea, but the market may not be big enough. I'd also imagine it would be difficult to get all the game devs to jump on board with the necessary button configurations. But good luck and I hope it works!
