Morning all. ABout to head out to the bank and set up a savings account to start putting my money away for the Dinc and other various thing...and get COFFEE!!!

You'd get the Inc faster if you laid off the $4.00 coffees! LOL :D

EDIT: I didn't see your post above before I posted! :)

I grind my own custom blends when at home. At work I'm stuck with the generic french roast the company provides. Should bring in my coffee press and make my own:D.

Happy Monday everybody! Good weekend for me Man Christmas came and my Steelers won (much to the chagrin of Nmayer ;)) and my fantasy football team for the AF league kicked some butt! Great weekend all around.

Although I found out an interesting bit of info, my brothers birthday was Saturday and a few of us decided to take him out for dinner. Being the phone nerd I am I took a poll to see who had what phones and the break down was something like this :

2 BB Tours (My brother and his fiance)
1 Inc (mine, duh ;))
1 DX
1 D1
1 Evo
1 Palm Pre Plus (the wife's)
and 3 not so smart phones (not sure which but didn't really care ;))

I was pleasantly surprised to see that there wasn't a single Iphone in the group. But what did seem interesting was out of the 4 Droids there it was only me that used the Droid to it's full capabilities, it seems that rather than researching their phones they just bought them for the features list and either forgot about it's capabilities or just didn't care.... I wonder how accurate this sample group is to the real life numbers of Android users... things that make you think....

I DONT KNOW!!!! There were some VERY trying times. Trust me.
I can't get through the day without at least ONE cup of joe. I spent six years drinking Navy sludge by the gallon. I've cut way back in the 16 years since I got out, but I still need a fix every day otherwise I get pretty grouchy:D.

Oh I used to hate the stuff with a bitter passion. It was just horrid, but thats to be expected when your a teenager. Now that im in college and working retail, my coffee is what keeps me alive...and I actually like the taste. I never thought that would happen. Same with beer...the taste bit atleast :P

Never got past barely tolerating the taste of beer. Give me the hard stuff.

Ha ha give me the girly stuff. MMMM Frozen margaritas and Mike's :D

I love the fact that your judged on how much of a man you are if your willing to down the most disgusting tasting alcohol...or in some cases, motor oil.

It's funny you mention motor oil. My favorite liquer is a black sambuca that my friends call 40 weight. It is about that thick and black as night. The only problem is I can't get it here in UT:mad:. I spent my entire Navy career overseas (Japan and SE Asia) and have tried just about every kind of alcoholic beverage found in the area. For example, rice wines (sake) were for the most part ok, but I perferred the distilled rice Sochu.

Very interesting "straw poll"! I talked my Sister and her husband into EVOs since they are Sprint users, and I had to keep putting on apps I thought they'd like to get them interested enough to use their phones to their potential. Now they are finally using it for email, maps, navigation, etc. It's been a tough fight! LOL

I think that would be a fairly accurate representation. Other than the business users or more techincally inclined, I thnk the average user has no real clue about the true capabilities of their phone (Android or not).

I thought it was fun, I would show them the different things my phone (and theirs) could do and they had no idea. My Dad has an Evo and it's a struggle to get him to DL any apps that he could actually use!

I have to disagree there:D. I like that combo.

I took that shot on my 21st Bday over 10 years ago and I still, quite vividly, remember the GAWD awful taste.... ;)

It really is a shame. I was afraid to even mentiopn root to all the droid users at the dinner...

I agree, though it is the same with computers, and just about every other type of electronics. The average consumer really doesn't have a clue, they just go by the hype and what someone else has told them (aka salesman).
