I got down to the store and I FREAKED!!! IT wasnt there!! I was was so scared that my mac store was gone, but found out they just moved down a few store fronts and thier sign wasnt up yet. Regardless, I gave them my mac and they were dumbfounded about what happened but they would check it out further and get back to me on thursday. Im just hoping my warranty is still going or else Im going to be screwed.

Also I THINK I have the oppertunity to call Apple up and talk about thier lemon policy. Ive sent this thing in SO many times that I think it will qualify as a lemon. If so they will send me a brand new model. That would be awesome!! Course Im not holding my breath on that too.

I hope they do also, and sometimes it takes you not being a "nice guy" for a while. You need to push the issue and keep asking for supervisors. The old adage "The squeaking wheel gets the grease" is very true in these cases.

Thats so much easier said than done. Im the type of person that hates to step on anyone's toes. I like for EVERYONE to be happy, even if it comes at a bit of a sacrifice. Although I guess this is the time I should start honing my asshole skills and try to get the best. Again its hard for me to be pushy, but I guess its what apple deserves sometimes.

My big thing is losing my music. 95% of my stuff is on CD's so its not hard to re-rip them, but thats close to 16 GB's of music and SEVERAL hours to do so.

I completely understand. I'm very non-confrontational myself. And it's not just Apple, most large corporations put people in CS positions whose job it is to say "No". And 90% of the callers will accept that answer and move on. The few who stick to their guns and put up with the endless holds and transfers usually end up getting what they want because the company realizes that they aren't going away easily. You can stay a polite as you want to, but let them know that you aren't asking for anything but what's fair.

EDIT: The store should be able to pull your hard drive and access it from another system and back up your music and other data before it goes back to Apple.

Yeah I hate doing that but that might be what it comes down to. "The customer is always right" :P Its still all up in the air though, Im not even sure if the Macbook is even still under warranty. Im pretty sure it is, but at the same time there is this nagging feeling that im missing something. If there is no warranty, there goes my Dinc for at least 6 months, and ive been REALLY looking foward to it. Oh well patience is a virtue, then again I never liked virtues...

Have fuun! Don't stay out too late! You know I worry when you do! And doing drink and drIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive! ;)

Did you mean DON'T?? Sounds like you told him to do it.

Feel free to edit your quote in my post as well when you change it. I'll be leaving for work any min.
