I'd say good morning to one and all but I'm too dang late. I lazed the morning away in preparation to lazing all afternoon. Naturally.. being off... the weather here is crummy so I can't get out and do my pre-till on my garden. My one and only chore for today and I have a solid excuse to duck it. Life is good sometimes.

Anybody using the phandroid app? Not working at the moment on my phone. Whenever I go to a news article or a thread, I get a blank page.

Weird. On my phone I can see the thread titles and news articles in the list, but when I click on one I get nothing. News articles are just blank, and forum threads just saw "loading..." at the top. May have to uninstall and re-install.
 
Evening incredible friends. Had an interesting day perusing a gun show. I haven't messed with going to one for many years. Dang... everything I own has tripled or better in price since the last time I was shopping. And ammo is ridiculous. Is everyone gearing up for the big revolution or expecting the sh*t to hit the fan or something?

Hey Night... good to see you. I was worried that you went postal, brought on by cig withdrawal, and was in the pokie some where. Hope things are going well. I like the sig but not many are going to give it a click to view. Just bump us all to premium is a good work a round. :)

Welp,

I was going to go over to the Dinc. My wife gave me her blessings to try her Incred. out and switch for a time, as it is fully unlocked, as opposed to my DX.

I ran into a problem. I couldn't see it too well. I really need the bigger screen. Sorry to disappoint. I'm still a DX user. GoLauncher with transitions makes it much more pallatable for me. Did you all try GL?

That's why there are different phones on the market my friend. One device does not fit all... unless it's an apple product and a fanboy:)

It's all good old man, I understand. My eyes aren't what they used to be either, but I can still at least read my screen (as long as I have my second set of eyes:D).

Haven't looked into GL, perhaps I'll check it out.
 
Yeah, but the funny thing is that my eyes can see the iPhone's print fine. The extra pixels make a difference. (The iPhone has a smaller screen than the dinc.)

I can read an iPhone's screen better also. It isn't just the pixel density, it is also the fonts being used that makes the difference. In my e-reader app, there are fonts that I have trouble reading even with my glasses, and others that I can read fine without them.
 
My son bought an iphone today. I will get to see it Friday. I'm about half blind so I'm anxious to compare it to my dinc. He's a big apple fan and this phone is another in a long line of their phones. We never debate our phone's differences... we just drink beers and each in turn brags about what their phone can do. His oldest daughter, 21, made up her own mind when she provided her own phone and has a droid. I doubt you could talk her into changing back.
However... I am about half blind and struggle to see txt on the dinc. I never considered the font differences. I will have to give it a look on Friday.
