I've taken the family to a couple minor league games here in Ogden, but I doubt it can compare to the bigs.
The yards are beautiful. The players are huge. The experience is definitely elevated. All levels are fun to watch.. at least for me but the bigs.. well they are the bigs.

Yes, I was able to get a Dinc 4G. It was working perfectly. Well, until we had a flash flood in the parking lot the other day and it slipped out of my hand in my haste to unlock the car and went swimming in ankle deep water. I immediately put it in rice when I got home even though it wasn't very wet. The water sensors didn't even get triggered and the only after effect that I have noticed is that my speakers are crackling a bit when I listen to music with a good beat. I can live with that though.
Ouch! Always hate to see a phone swim. I'm happy you were able to get the phone of choice though... And very happy it survived the water torture test.

So far I have escaped the porcelain phone magnet. However, two of my children have tossed their phones in my hall bath toilet. It's amazing how often phones fall victim to such drownings. I'm glad your's escaped.

I haven't been to a Reds game in a couple of years. I need to try and get down there this year. We have the Dayton Dragons, the Reds single-A minor league team, here in town. I usually catch a game or two each year. They are not the typical minor league team, they have sold out every game since the team was brought here. I think they went over 1000 straight sellouts last year and still going strong. My job has some good seats behind home plate they give me from time to time.
That's outstanding! We had the Royals farm team here for years but they never got that sort of support. They have since moved on.

have been around as long the Cincinnati Reds I would like to make it to see one of our farm teams games. Though I'd probably make the trek to Louisville first to see the Bats since they are AAA

It ain't so. Hey Musky, how does it go? I'm having a great time this week. I took off one of my jobs so I'm only working one this week. My oldest daughter is in from Arizona so it's been a constant party so far. Last night I had a cousin and her daughter over as well as two of my daughters. I hid in the office after grilling out.... watching some baseball while those ladies put on the party... mercy!!! Tonight we are all gathering over at my son's house... he's somewhat local. We are grilling steaks and such... It should prove to be another great evening. It's been many years since my entire family was together at the same time. That's what I get for having so many children. We will be short one daughter tonight... that's close.

Well, the combination of heat and humidity has been pretty bad lately, for San Diego anyway.
I'll tell ya, my daughter and I didn't want to leave. One guy was complaining about the weather, and of course it's all about what your used to. But we are used to 90degrees with 90+ humidity... So tired of that crap....
I SOOOO miss San Diego 😀
Maybe a move is in order? We have room for a few more people here in SD.
Count me in. Shouldn't be too hard to find work there 😀
