Hey guys,

I'm currently working on a thread about screen protectors and skins. You can find the link in my sig. If you have the time, I ask if you could please PM me with a small review of whatever protection you have on your Incredible. The guidelines are in the thread but it's simple:

Username:
Protection: (specify brand and also if it's clear or anti-glare if it is applicable)
Device:
Cost of protector/skin: (include shipping and any coupon or discount you may have received in final price)
Picture: (if you have any)
Review:
Rating: (out of five, ex. 3.5/5, 4/5, etc)

The thread needs a bit of a kickstart to get things rolling. I think this thread can help the Android community as a whole with reviews from all different perspectives. Thanks in advance :)

bakan, word has it that since this is not a major update, that HTC already has the code they need to integrate 2.2 with Sense. Therefore, the only other potential holdup that I see is VZW....

I sat down in the driver's seat of my car, I had my phone in my right hand, and with my left hand I grabbed the seat belt and yanked it down. I felt the belt hit my phone pretty hard, and I heard a nice solid "crack."
Never owning a big ol' fancy smartphone, but hearing countless horror stories of shattered touch screens, that's exactly what I was expecting; so, I look down to see... well, I didn't really see anything.
If I look really closely, I can see a tiny little scrape of silver just below and to the right of the home softkey.
I've been a lot more careful with it, but man, I feel like I got lucky on that one.

Phone habits need to change, make sure the phone is secure and protected, or in a case. i was leaving my house and grab a few things with my phone in hand while closing doors and locking them proceeding to my car in the driveway. As i grab the few items i then stop in my tracks, i realized that my phone was exposed and in a position to slipping out of my hand, so i stopped put everything down, secured my phone, and then i left.

Do not take short cuts or half attempts, practice good phone habits, its worth it.

Hi,

I am waiting on my Incredible and cannot seem to find the simple answer to:

How do you copy/paste in email?

Thanks,

BB

From what i experience you can not copy and paste from an old email or text message on file, if you type/compose a new message Text/Email, you can copy and paste by long pressing the message box.

Looking for advice with My droid Incredible... having issues with Uconnect on my dodge... Does not load names I have to say the number ...a nay fixes out there

Just watched a 5 minute hands on video of the Evo. Nice phone. Not enough there to make me consider switching from DI. I like VZW's network and more than likely the 3G is still the most reliable. The DI is very satisfying and I think the screen size is perfect the way it is. It appeared from the demo that the Evo does not use the entire screen for YouTube (it looked like it used the same amount of screen as the DI). If that's true then what's the point of a bigger screen? Anyway, just felt the urge to drop my opinion here.

I have Uconnect on my 300C, the problem is not with the phone, you may want to get your uconnect system updated. What year dodge? What version Navteq DVD?

I have AF and it works fine for me.

What does everyone think about the SUPERBOWL being played in NJ/NY, and in POSSIBLY bad weather.

By playing in northern states football gets back to its roots and played the way football is played during all its games, warm weather, rain, cold, snow storms..... HEY.. its part of the game and shouldn't be played in perfect conditions, let the chips fall where they may.... its football.

I'll be happiest if it snows during the game, that way we can ensure that the NY/NJ fans will start another snowball throwing riot ;)

Soo I was just over in the Evo forum, just too see how people are liking their phones (Those that got it early) and I just realized that that forum is just like ours used to be, not nearly as fanatical as our epic "official" thread but general goods vibes waiting for the phone to be released. I can't wait for the deluge of "battery sucks/ signal sucks/ clarity sucks/ phone is doing weird things threads" that are inevitable (mostly UE) but just being over there had me remincsing about the old days .. sigh... ;)
