Wow, this thread has been dead for a while. I am leaving the Droid X. I loved the phone (despite some bugs thanks to MOTO), but I have personally had a very bad experience with Verizon customer service for the last several months. Yesterday they pushed me over the edge. I switched to Tmobile. I now have the MyTouch 4G and along with that I bought another 4G plus 2 G2's for my family plan.
Community isn't as big for the MyTouch yet. Hopefully I cn help move thing along

Let's just say my last several interactions with them have not been good. I have been lied to on 3 separate occasions, both in store and call in. I was willing to overlook everything and called in yesterday to order a new D2 for my daughter for Christmas. The call went bad when they said they were not going to honor an early upgrade that was given to me by a manager to make up for the previous bad customer service.
Coverage is great here. I have 4G or HSPA+ everywhere I go.

Looks like I have brought this thread back from the dead. The MT4G forum is boring and empty, I'm working on bringing it to life though. 
That blows... but hell ya on some good t-mo coverage in your neck of the woods. T-mo blows where i'm at

T-Mo coverage where I am is inconsistent.
So now I have a droid X on Verizon (obviously) and no, it's not as fast but its consistent.
I get between 1.5 and 2 down and 1-1.5 up and that's plenty fast.
I could get upwards of 3 on T-mo in a good area.
I think it's a great company they just need to do a lot of fill-in on their network.

So a new update was released on 12/10/2010 but every time I try to update to it I fail. The Update is 2.3.3 with Android 2.2.1. I've tried unrooting and uninstalling bootstrap but nothing works the update still fails. Anyone else have this issue?

Do you still have all the bloat on there? It won't install without the bloatware

Yes I still have all the bloatware I never uninstalled it just in case. The one thing i did notice is that while I uninstalled the bootstrap the Phone still restarts to the altered boot showing the bootstrap options. I can't figure out a way to get it off though. I also do know that it was unrooted for sure as i tryed to use the wifi teather app and it couldn't start because it couldn't get root access.

FYI wasn't the Mods fault... not gonna name names here but someone thought to have an issue with there placement and brought it up to bosses, then POOF X, and Inc lounges were moved

Honestly, I was disappointed at first, when they decided to move this, but I'm glad they did. The move brought me into the real Lounge more often, and I've made more friends. (If you can believe anyone would want to be my friend, that is

We're going in February for two weeks to see family/friends. I love going this time of year. The weather is beautiful and everyone is back in school so the area isn't too crowded.
