Hey everyone for anyone who is interested a new app has been released that allows an overclock of up to 1.45Ghz on the Droid X along with Under and over volting for power. its 99 cents in the app store and its call the DX/D2 Overclocker. All credit goes to gizmodo ^ ^

I welcome everyone in my thread, even guys with pretty girl avatars. ;)

I just realized that I've been hanging out in the SF lounge waaaayyy more than I hang out here.....does that make me a bad DX owner?

Today is the first time I have really put the noise cancellation to the test. I was out running errands and decided to stop by the casino to do a little gambling. While I was there my wife called me. I talked to her in the casino and she never heard all the slot machines and other noise and had no idea I was at the casino. I love the noise cancellation on this phone, saved me from being in the dog house! :D:cool:

LOL as evidence that it took a whole day to respond! :D

Well said.

I spoke with your wife. She spoke with Verizon and Motorola. They're taking away your noise reduction. ;)

Don't encourage him!

Not me...going to as soon as there's a one-click root/unroot program for Mac users. I know there's easy ways to do it with Macs but I want that ability to one-click UNroot which I don't think I've seen yet.

Just out of curiosity what is the logic behind needing to unroot?

Just in case I need to take it in for warranty issues or whatnot. Another DX user I see at work brought up the point that if you are rooted and are having major issues with your phone that you need to send it in for a warranty replacement, there's a chance that whatever is wrong with your phone might keep you from being able to unroot it (screen problem, frozen, etc.). Of course, now he is rooted with the one-click root/unroot method.

I am not familiar with RSDlite on a mac but if it works, that is the easy way to return your phone to factory condition (unrooted). That is the same program that will be used to restore your phone when you send it in for warranty issues. If you can do a battery pull and turn your screen on, you can restore to factory.

See? I started a nonsensical conversation, and it helped someone! I just can't help it! I'm helpful! ;) :p
