DX2 goes on sale tomorrow....Anyone???

Looks pretty worthless as an upgrade option. I wonder if it at least has an SVDO chip for simultaneous voice and data. Actually it is worthless all around as others mentioned not having LTE or GSM or FFC or something value added. Dual core is worthless on a 3G phone that has a weak wifi radio.

Ah, even more worthlessness: no 1080p video like other dual core phones. The camera chip has 1080p capability but the X cpu wasn't fast enough.
 
Not enough differences betweem the X and the X2 for me to switch.

My next phone will be an LTE phone and 4G is not expected to be here in Hawaii until late this year. Well, the Honolulu airport has 4G but I'm about 15-17 miles away so I'm not even in the extended 4G area.

I really like my Droid X so it will take an outstanding 4G phone to make me upgrade. Looking forward to it though.
 
if they would give it to me for contract price...id think about it...but i wouldn't want to sign a new contract yet...if the rumors are true about what Motorola has coming in the fall...

i seriously thought about my phone having some hardware type issues that would warrant an insurance replacement...and demanding an X2 as a replacement lol
 
I think general consensus is, if you're switching from a different phone brand (like blackberry?) then go for it, it's a good phone... but it's not good enough to get anyone to upgrade from last year's phones.
 
I just got my DROID x2 today and I love it. There are a couple kinks on the software but im sure when gingerbread comes out it'll be fine. But I did test the browser speed against the thunderbolt and charge on 4g while my X2 was on 3G and I tied them both sometimes winning. Processor seems to make a difference to even it out.

Btw where is the DROID x2 forum?
