Evo 3D 'pro' reviews

I don't know if anyone else noticed but the Evo3D got the front page on CNet all day yesterday and another feature article today touting it as:
"The hottest new HTC phone"
"The 3D features are a fun addition, but it's the HTC Evo 3D's zippy performance and improved battery life that make this Android smartphone one of Sprint's best."
.

Awesome! ;)

Expect the coverage/hype to really ramp up as we go into the final days before release.

Very exciting phone.

Hard to take this review seriously as soon as he said it took 1080p video @ 24fps.

I guess I'll keep watching just to see if there's any value in the remainder.

-edit-
Don't bother watching this. One of the most useless reviews ever. We learned more at CTIA than from this guy.

LMAO, thanks for saving me 9 minutes and 33 seconds plus bandwith usage.

Prior to your post I had done a search on youtube and watched about 10 seconds of it and saw a comment about him not knowing what he was talking about. So I closed it.

On Friday we're going to get a lot of that.

I bet you guys watched it anyway just to see how bad it was.

It's hard to tell for sure, but I'm betting the reviewer in that particular article either has a faulty phone, or has problems with the wireless signal.

It's highly unlikely that Sprint would ship a phone that has such inherent hardware problems.

It just seems more plausible to believe that.

my old palm pre comes to mind. the radio was a disaster.

My question on the Phone Arena review is that since he is in Philly(My area) did he have 4G on at all times?

If so, then the 10 hour usage would be good/above average for a 4G phone.

*Gasp!* The reviewer says "Super" LCD and no one here is mad. I'm shocked :P

lol, that's one of EarlyMon's pet peeves :)

Agreed that this Phone Arena review is THE review to read. If it praises, it gives a lot of details why. If it criticizes, you know exactly why they came to that conclusion. And they prove that they really know their stuff.

It's one thing to write a review with strong conclusions; it's another to back it up with understanding and facts. That's what makes this review stand out over any others we've seen thus far.
