Root Evo Port Test ROMs | Droid Incredible

Have you ever tried this? It saves your route in the cache and still continues in the background. Idiot.

I have, and it works until you go off route. As soon as the route needs to be updated - gone.

Thanks guys. I'm not sweating the remark, but appreciate the sentiment behind the support.

Small donation sent your way, Adrynalyne. It's good to see you back in the Android game. I know your experiences with Android haven't always been the most positive, but your hard work and contributions are really appreciated. I just loaded up Second Wave this morning, and can't wait to try out the Evo Port once it hits beta. Thanks for pre-including the instructions to set up working Hulu, finally made me bite the bullet and get registered.

Adrynalyne - this may be a ******ed question, but can you release the framework by itself? Can that be flashed without flashing the whole rom? Like just an update or 'patch'?

Adrynalyne, Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!! My flash-addiction is back. I was a recovered Omnia flash-a-holic and you have returned me to my bliss. Again, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! Keep Up the great work!!!:D

maybe because I already had the leaked FroYo on my phone - I don't see any differences with this ROM other than 6 signal bars? :P

other than a few of the borked things in FroYo that this seemed to fix?

Visually, you shouldn't see many differences. The idea is to make it as stable, swift, and bug free as possible while we wait for an official release.

Test 5, 30 to 40 in linpack, 1144 in quadrant. Next we'll have to see about battery life. I stopped processess in system panel but is there anything else I need to know for disabling sense? I don't check the Evo board often (ever).

it certainly is that - it's also fixed a few of the glitches I noticed in the 2.2 leak

thanks for this!

Adrynalyne - so, I flashed the Evo framework zip over the second leaked 2.2. First boot was scary long, but phone is running fine now. Other than the signal bars and location icon, I cant say I notice any difference. Benchmarks are all the same. Can you say there would be any known advantage of leaving this framework in? Is it just that it's newer? Are there any known issues/bugs from installing JUST the framework?

Doing a nandroid now and will test FrankenRom(b1), I'll post my results.

Edit: So far so good, wiped data and it booted up just fine. In the process of redownloading all my apps with Titanium. Have not found any problems yet. Great job Adrynalyne!!!

Did you increase the haptic vibration? It definitely feels like more vibration when typing and using the soft keys?

Okay i just loaded this rom and am very excited after reading all the positive posts. Titanium went smoothly and the rom is very similiar to the 8/1 leak (at least it feels similiar). I like the hulu very much :) and like the new messaging app.

Thank you adrynalyne!! I am a big fan of your work.

I will keep posting anything else i find

EDIT: after exiting the hulu app with the back button, the audio feed kept playing. When i went back into the app the video was not continuing just the audio. I had to go to running applications and force close hulu just to turn off the sound.

That's not ROM specific, you have to stop the vid before closing, or, like you did, force close it.
