Accessories EVO Screen Protectors Thread

My friend wants the privacy one. What exactally does it look like on your screen compared to the regular ones. And I see a mirrored one too. I saw where the clear is on back order. Now I don't know which one to get. I don't get the privacy one that means if someone is looking over my shoulder and I am on the web or looking at pictures on my phone they see a black screen? Maybe I'll wait for the clear one it still will be here before my phone I am guessing and it's cheaper. Was there a coupon code for here I forgot?
 
bought Zagg this afternoon with 50% off coupon. when i get it i'll see if i want to install it. if it sucks i'll just remove it when i order SGP

Enter the contest for an iPad (supply your email address)

Only 1 coupon code per IP address per day. (So, only the 1st email address entered from that public IP gets a code.)

The amount of the code will be between 10-50%

So, if you have access to multiple IP addresses and Multiple email addresses...you can put in multiple entries. (Not multiple computers, specifically multiple public internet addresses.)

So, only one person at your office can get a code each day, because all the computers at the office share the same IP address... But you generally can reset a the public IP address on a home DSL connection just by unplugging the power for 10 minutes... etc :P

Oh I know like where he got it from. But every time I do that, I never get a 50% discount one. :\

I ordered the zagg full body easy install and a phantomskin and some from clearfreak... gonna test the waters also.


took me 3 tries to get 50%... easy way to keep re entering is to use website translation sites and proxy browsing sites... :)

I want to ask more about the privacy screen. Is the Clarivue one 4 way, or just horizontal? I don't see any privacy option on Steinheil's site, am I just missing it somehow? And lastly, anyone know of another manufacture that makes a good 4 way privacy protector for HTC phones? I just talked with someone on NLU/Screenguardz, and they told me that they might have it in 3-6 weeks. So nothing solid there :(
 
I don't really know about them but my friend wants one. I was going to order a clear one butit's backordered so I thought I would just get one of the privacy ones too but wasn't too sure about it. I don't think anyone else had privacy ones.

this is what i'm looking for in a screen protector:

-NO sticky residue, so i would want something that clings statically
-NO rubbery touch (like ZAGG)
-not overly shiny/glossy
-slick and smooth

Is the Stealth Guards or Steinheil protectors what I'm looking for?

Yes, Steinheil will do the trick.
 
I had ordered the Clarivue clear screen protector over the weekend. Said it was back ordered and would ship within 4-8 days. Well, just received confirmation that it shipped today so hopefully I will have it by next Friday! Never used this brand before but I needed something by the time I would pick up my phone.

Not a fan of the Zagg. Don't like the feel of them at all.........

Steinheil, Clarivue (clear/anti-glare), BoxWave, or Seidio are static cling protectors
 
I just got a reply from Clarivue about maybe ordering a mixed "combo" pack of SP's with 1 clear and 1 anti glare, no joy :( They said they will/can not send one of each. Oh well.
Does anyone here have the Clarivue sp yet? I thought I saw pics of one. Was wondering if it was the one with the cut outs for the camera and light sensor?

Do you know anyone close by that's getting an EVO and wants Clarivue protectors as well? You can each get a different one and split the packs so you both have one of each.:cool:

Good idea! Unfortunately, no I do not know anyone else that is getting one.
 
full body protectors don't work for me, the very corners are still exposed where they're more prone to make contact with the ground. having a skin protector on the sides fronts and back is nice and all but you'll never drop your phone there, it's all in the corners and from what i can tell, none of these full body protectors offer that type of protection.
 
What about clarivue privacy one is it static cling or not as good as the clear/antiglare? And do you get 2 in a pack from them? If so I'll get a clear and a privacy and me and him can split one of each. I know someone said the clear was shipped today so I may order tomorrow.. I thought I saw just one in a pack when I looked but I'll check again. Thanks,

Does anyone know anything about the Seido screen protectors? Gonna order a case this afternoon and wondering if I should grab that too.
