Meximo nickname given to me as a little girl by my uncle because Mexican American Eskimo. I was living in Alaska at the time.

I'm sure you saved thousands. The body work, the engine, trans, etc.

How old are you? I ask because I worry about those skills being lost by the average dude.. back when I was a kid, a loooooong time ago :D, just about every guy worked on their car, built them up, hot rodded them, etc.. those skills were passed from father to son and from kid to kid.

Maybe that's still going on.

i think building a car can be the best father son/daughter experience.

Ive already bought a chassis of an old mustang so down the line we can rebuild it, cause who knows 20+ years down the line an old 68 mustang body may not be available.
 
Mine's pretty straightforward:

I was into Oblivion a while back (2008? 2007? When did it come out, again?), and found the Shivering Isles a fun playthrough. So I took my name (Leo) and smooshed it onto one of the character's names (Sheogorath). And thus was born leogorath. Cheese for everyone!

(Also, it's easy as Hell to remember, since it's got my name built right in.)

Mine is a two part thing. Scorp and DX

The scorp is just short for Scorpion. In the early 90's I got into IRC and always used some variation of "scorpion" in my names and it always got shortened by others to just "scorp" so I finally just went with that.

The DX is used my radio operators as a term to mean distant. My office is the 48 states so I'm always off in the distance somewhere.

I added the two together because on any large community "Scorp" is usally taken by someone shortening it from Scorpion or using it to mean S-Corp. I have never had any trouble getting ScorpDX.

Yeah I usually like to signup as straight Outlaw or Outlawbiker, but both of those as well as Outlaw1, Outlawbiker1, Outlaw2, Outlawbiker2, etc... were all taken.

I guess there aren't any Outlaws out there that were born in 71.
 
Well mine is fairly easy to figure out looking at my avatar. Law enforcement refer to all motorcycles, motorcycle units and individual motorcycle officers as Motors. I spent six years as the only mechanic for 64 motorcycles and that's how I got the mech part.
 
L1 = National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) designation for Advanced Level Engine Performance Specialist.

TECH = ASE Certified Master TECHnician.

L1TECH - My wife actually came up with this as a custom plate for my new truck about 12 years ago (been on 3 trucks since). It just stuck as a user name and if I forget I just have to look out in the driveway.
