Yep. Op was wrong. Mods were wrong. Sprint reps were wrong. Title of this thread is wrong.

MODS LOCK THIS DOWN OR CHANGE THE NAME! Im downloading the OTA right now!
 
I want in on the fun...

I don't mind losing root temporarily while the guys bang it out...

is there anything in this update that would make me want to do this other than 4g?

and then it came to life (still the ugly ass sprint 4g intro)..

I tried to manually update from the previous version of 2.2 to this new version, but the installation stopped because the version wasn't correct.

Just wanted to save some people some time in case they try doing it!
 
Anyone that did the unofficial update able to download and install this or is it just for us that didnt install the unofficial update?
 
Getting it in Chicago. I don't understand how this thread ever even took off. Haven't we said a thousand times over that Sprint reps aren't trust worthy for this type of information?

Don't think we're missing much...probably several days for HTC to get it out. I would love to know what, if anything, the official has that the unofficial doesn't though.

I started roughly at 5:30 (it's 6:00 now) and I'm still seeing the 4g white screen flash off and on.

Whoops, here comes my stuff. Yippee!!! About 35 mins total over 3g.
