Root Fast Boot Mode?? lg esteem

Anyway you can post up a pic or video of what the phone looks like or is doing in said "fast boot"? I really wanna see this as this is something I've never seen before on an Esteem and I thought I had seen it all trying to tear it up. Haha

sorry i couldnt take photos.. but anyways i used the link to the fourm about it.. and got out.. Badnews is, now cwm doesnt want to work and shows the cwm caution sign on it instead of loading up. so now my phone is double bricked...

HOW I ENDED UP IN THIS MESS?

I was Flashing Ldrifta's #2.6 on my phone and was attempting to flash the overclock zip on to it too. it didnt work the first time. so i reboot cwm and flashed the overclock zip again... it worked but when rebooting the phone it went straight to fast boot mode.. long story short.. idk how the heck i got there... i was just following instructions... and everything went wrong...

I talked to my brother though and he says he thinks it may be because i was using the older cwm i think version 5 instead of the newer cwm 6.0 touch.. ??? he has the Nexus and said he had a problem similar using an older cwm??

Lol i thought you would have seen it being king over here. But sorry brother i already got out. ill look up a youtube link or something so you can see. I thought it was actually kind of cool when i found out it used windows command prompt.

Im a complete noob/newbie by the way im just good at following directions and learning from there..:o:stupido2:\

PS: Please help me... cuz as of now.. im stuck on the Blackberry my dads old phone... Its a sad day.. smh

Yeah I've never even heard of fast boot being on the esteem. Not only that but I've never seen a post relating to fast boot in the esteem forum. The normal fast boot I've seen is the bootloader option that most people know of that's why I would like to see what this issue actually looks like on the esteem.

Even when I've taken apart the system files, I've never seen anything relating to the words fast boot anywhere.

Can you describe what the screen was showing or looked like?

Know this doesn't answer your question but PG and shiny were doing it back in the day of getting cwm onto the esteem.. Something about breaking the boot (out of my league) i know they were doing it for purpose for testing purposes but this is the first time that I've seen it pop up 'in the wild' so to speak.. ;)
 
has anyone tried to attempt to just update to zve on lg.com,if ya bricked wat would it hurt ,my opinion? you say u cant even do the power ,volume button combo ? i dont think ive heard of this one either on the esteem,but i do recall reading bout it on xda,i think,maybe something over there might help,if you cant here,good luck, i googled and found this http://androidforums.*****************/optimus-m-all-things-root/382525-guide-get-out-fastboot-mode.html check it out
 
Thank you for the replies. I found a post on XDA I think it was that had a copy of the restore.img for the esteem, loaded that with androidflashrecovery. Then loaded a new rom and kernal. Working good again.
