There's no right or wrong way to deal with death. We all do it differently. Is it wrong to say I am sadder that this lady died then my own momwhat's worst I didn't know this lady existed

When my childhood idol, John Lennon, was murdered, I was inconsolable...I mean for weeks. (And he died on my birthday.) A few years later, when my grandmother died, I didn't shed a tear. I had been estranged from her since leaving home at 16--because of her. We were on speaking terms (infrequent and awkward) by the time she died, but I really felt no sadness at losing her.
You're feeling what you're feeling. It's neither right nor wrong. It just is.

I'm glad they did that, because it gives them an option to keep her character alive, although it would fit better with the show's philosophy to acknowledge and honor her death.
