Root Fave ROM besides CM7???

I know a ton of y'all run CM7. I just actually switched from running it to running MikG. But idk if I'm a fan of the sense, so what's y'alls absolute favorite ROM besides CM7???

moved you to the rooting section.

my fav is mikg3.1 and the elite series VI so far for gingerbread sense.

but for aosp roms i like xplod, and cm7
 
hi..im a aosp fan but for fav sense roms that would b mik3....tomato classic 5...sprint lovers swag on.....miui is fun to play with if u like something different or close to ios...theres so many just try a different one each week and c what one u like..i and dont forget donate if u can they work hard on these for us and it helps to give back...we would have nothing without the devs.

Sorry if this maybe gets off topic but do y'all know a ROM that has a really reliable WiFi Tether baked into it? I can't seem to find 3rd party wifi tether apps in the market for free anymore and I'm hurting without it because I used to tether all the time.

Energy 3.5 rom has a reliable tether app preinstalled.


To the op's question, I've been a fan of the Sense 3.5 roms for the last 3 months. I was on Energy rom for 2 months and for the last month I've been running newtoroot and Mik's latest 3.5 rom. And recently Mik posted that an update is coming soon, maybe today or tomorrow ;)
 
Call me lame, but I still think that myn's 2.2 was my favorite. Probably because it was my first. I tend to prefer aosp, but I'm on mikg3.1 right now. :D
 
naw man, youre all good.. you find something you like and run with it... im kinda intrigued by the new sense roms released this last week, mik 3.1 and elite 4..., we'll see if i act upon them tho lol Im looking to find an evo for a toy. I have an ipod touch that im trying to replace with either an incredible or an evo. We'll see what happens tho LoL
 
I'm thinking I'll have to try the new MIUI, I spend nearly the whole summer on that ... awesome. I absolutely loved it, except sometimes when I was in 4g area, I couldn't use it because that rom doesn't have it.

I think it was the subtle changes from stock that myn's 2.2 had that did it for me. The darker theme, very sexy font.... It's great.

Digging MikG for a while though...

And I really can't wait for my upgrade so I can use my phone for more obscure purposes. Full media player, browser, I'll probably get some SIP service running and see if I can make wifi calls or something :D
 
hi thats a good subject ...older 2.2 favs for the EVO...yes mine will always b burnt droid by netch and his kermals nice simple and fast...i wish he had continued to dev his rom but like life new roms and new devs always evolving.
 
It is really hard to say.
I was on Evolved Androids sense 3.0 for a couple of months then before flashing MikG 3.0 I ran CM7, Xplod, Decks and a bunch of Sense 3.5 roms.

I ran Mikg for about 2 months but right now I'm digging the tweaked Sense 1.0 roms alot. I think my favorite one right now would be the Revolation Rom. A great theme on it.

I've been waiting for Tommy to drop Supermagic on us. It's like waiting for Derek Zoolander to drop Magnum on everyone.;):D

I have been all about MikG lately. Especially with the tweaking available since build 3.0, it's just amazing. There are lots of really good themes available too.
