Favorite App so far.... Developers please see link to Announcements above.

I have to agree. And although I never did a scientific test on this, my battery seems to work just as well without this app.
Yes, it might work better without this "saver", but some function that closes all data connection when you have phone locked, is needed anyway.

How so? i use my phone damn near a 100 times a day and dont need data for the tasks i perform.if it had to turn on data every time i unlocked it my battery would be dead in no time just making connections.I just use the power widget to perform those simple tasks of turning on data, wifi, bluetooth.etc

Thx! Which icon on Power widget is for tuning off data? Thx (starting on left, 1st, 2nd?)

On mine its the 4th one looks like a piece of paper with the corner folded down and two arrows one faceing left and one right. Here is a picture of a different set up i found online but it also is the 4th one. There also is a app i use now called NOTIFICATION TOGGLE,that will run in your drop-down window and do the same job just saves screen space and is customizable here is that link >>https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.j4velin.notificationToggle&hl=en

Just wanted to mention LBE Privacy again (only mentioned once in this entire thread), it really is an amazing app, and gives you a lot of control what data apps can access on your phone. An eye opener for sure!

This is one of the few apps that SHOULD be included on every phone (or integrated into the Android OS).

Might have mentioned that the description says that the app requires a rooted phone.

I have many favorites, but I will just list a few.

Android Assistant: I started using this before I ever rooted. Besides being.a great app saver it moves to sd, does batch install & uninstall, cleans cache, cleans up your browser history, search history, it has a task killer.....18 tools in one.

Beautiful widgets: when I had to downgrade my evo to this metropcs phone, I really missed my animated weather clock on my home screen. That's what I was used to, I had the htc hero before that. So I searched until I found something comparable. I like that I can change my clock & weather skins. It also has a battery widget.

Handcentsms: I have used this since the beginning of my android days & love it.

Screenshot UX: I tried several trial version screenshot apps before buying this one. I just really like it. You can choose which file to save the pics in. You can crop, edit draw stencil, it's just a good app.

ROM Toolbox: must be rooted as with the screenshoot app as well. This app has ROM manager in it (although that isn't compatible with my phone & will brick it) oh sorry, I have the PRO version. Other features include; apps manager, file browser, DNS changer, ad blocker, rebooter, cpu control, build prop tweaks/editor, terminal emulator, configure your memory allotment, change the speed your sd card writes, font installer, icons & I don't remember how many, but several bootanimations.

Lastly, I tried several twitter apps before finally settling on Twidroyd Pro . Not a lot to say, it's twitter, lol just personal preference.

I'm new around here & to Androids (about 2-3 weeks), but so far my favorite apps are;
GasBuddy -- I don't do a lot of traveling but this is helpful
JuiceDefender -- this app is doing a great job of limiting my battery drain
EasyProfiles -- great for creating different sound profiles

What are your thoughts on Juice Defender Ultimate for $4.99?

I have a few friends that say its the best battery saver app out there.

What are some other great ones, either Free or Paid
In the reply right above this one I sang praises for this app.
I love it. Money well spent.

Does "acalendar" sync with facebook?
Nevermind. I picked up this app, and it does get all of the birthdays from facebook..............but I have "show lunar phases" clicked & I do not see them on there.

My favourites are:

Juice Defender Ultimate - Noticed a big difference in how long my battery lasts since installing this

Hooked - I love gaming on my phone and this gives me good reccomendations, lets facebook see what i'm playing and shows me how much time i've actually wasted playing them o.O

Camera 360 - MUCH better than the basic camera app that comes with the phone, many instant editing options
