Glyder 2 (unbelievable fantasy flying game) (on market) Full Free & Paid versions..
Search for: glu (in market)..

One of the best. Once you try this you won't be able to put it down.
Incredibly smooth graphics, serene music. (Not much of a tutorial though..)
(Google 'Glyder 2' for hints and info)

ESPNRadio and Pandora are the only 2 of my 80+ apps I can honestly say I've used daily since getting my Android phone

Astronomy Picture of the Day - Automatically downloads the APOD and makes it your wallpaper. Gorgeous pics, many taken by Hubble. Others are just of the sky visible here on earth. If you click on the app itself, there's a paragraph explanation about the latest pic so you can learn something too.

Can't find it on the market place or via appbrain...

I use the Locale app and I hardly EVER have GPS on. In fact, I use it to make sure that the things I am not using are off. It can use Wi-Fi positioning for location based things (which works surprisingly well). An example is that I use it to detect low light and quiet environment to then dim my screen and make it quiet till morning. I also have it perform actions depending on whether it is in my home dock and to perform different actions in my car dock, etc. I really like it.

I've looked in the Market fo Locale but find all kinds of app called Locale and then something else. Is it called JUST Loale och something more then Locale? Could it also be that I'm on the swedish marketplace that has no paid apps? Id like to find this cause it sounds really useful. :)

I second this question/request.

The top bar on my Captivate is so crowded with stuff that's visibile elsewhere on my device (and in easier-to-view shapes and sizes, places, etc.) than the tiny top bar.

To take it a step further, the only things I need on that bar are my signal strength, 3g transmission, Weatherbug temp and variable email/text notificiations.

Is there an existing way to modify this bar or might there be someone out there working on an app to allow for such modification??

-Ryan

Sapphire 1.1 allows you to remove the battery icon. LauncherPro allows you to hide the bar all together via a programmable swipe action on the dock.

Launcher Pro is a must.
ACV - Comic reader
Angry Birds
Beautiful Widgets
AppBrain
TasKiller Free
Smooth Calendar
Battstatt
doubleTwist
Alchemy
Apps Organizer
Dolphin HD Browser

Handcent
Gesture Search
App Brain

But my absolute favorite so far is definitely Tasker. It basically is like Locale, but without having to pay for all the extra plug-ins like you do in Locale. It really makes people realize the true potential of Android.
