I got a facebook authentication error. Has anybody else experienced this?

Mine is working... i got a notification saying something about adding an exchange connection... had to allow it
sorry, can't remember exactly what it said.
It added the exchange calendar but hasnt prompted me for anything else. Also the phone doesnt vibrate for phone calls anymore.
You can just uninstall swype and then reinstall it. It is just one of those things but know big deal. It will be fine when you reinstall it.
6: I have now verified that the OTA update I got was the same as the ones posted elsewhere, and have provided a faster alternate link (via MedaiFire) to Trident
i need help installing flash onto my phone..so i downloaded the necessary files onto my computer..my phone is hooked to my computer..now what?

ahh, i think it was only the calendar prompt i got... haven't had any problem... if it continues for you, i guess i'd suggest removing and re-adding the account...
haven't gotten a phone call yet, but i'll try that out.
UPDATE: Mine didn't vibrate either.... hmm
UPDATE(2): Go into your sound settings, select vibrate, select only when not in silent mode, go back into vibrate, select only in silent mode. That sort of reset it and now it works for me.
how long does it take to determine this? is it something that takes hours or days or fairly quick to decide that they in fact altered the bootloader so we cannot root if we do the stock 2.2
if this stock 2.2 is NOT rootable you find, I would pass on this, then root, then do a 2.2 ROM. but if you find it is still rootable and the bootloader is not locked down, I might just go this route since future rooting would still be possible.
I'll wait for the answer to this before I do anything.
I know this is off topic but is there any way you can upload the swype apk?
Thanks for the post. Can you confirm that your 2.2 version is the same as the one we downloaded from here?
Baseband version: C_01.43.01P
Kernel Version: 2.6.32.9-g103d848 android-build@apa26#1
Build number: FRG01B
OK, Froyo installed. Why is everybody do excited? I see no major changes.
Ok, anyone know how to get hulu to work on this now? I tried the 'about:debug' thing and didn't get it to work.

Based on what I just read that someone else posted who flashed the update with spr I dont think it flashes the bootloader but I dont think we will know until someone tries the update then tries to root it
Or a dev examines it closely. I took a quick look at file names and saw mbm which is the bootloader

I made Pete aware of the file, he's got it now and is working on rooting it, and will keep us posted via Twitter.

Won't that be a good time. I think I'll stick with the clean 2.2 build that Pete posted for now. I doubt there's any difference between that and the official OTA update. I don't particularly wish to lose root at this point. Too many useful programs require it.![]()
Pete's got this version of the file already and is working on rooting it. Sit tight.
The clean 2.2 build that was posted seems to work well for me. I've only had some minor weird issues that clearing the cache seems to have fixed for now. (Exchange email was telling me it couldn't contact the server....cleared the cache, rebooted, all is well again.) But root is something at this point I don't want to give up. It took me long enough to take the plunge and now I'm quite well addicted to it.
