a little tid bit that has just crossed my mind... been wondering to myself that i should have a lot more space on my card than what is showing..... well, i'm flashing [ROM]-[MikRoms]---[7/13/2011]-MikG v2.3 Sense 2.1+3.0 right now and of course, did a nandroid.... then it dawned on me, just how many backups to i have on my card??? and wouldn't ya know, i had almost a dozen.... and at 250mb+ a pop, that's a lot of space..... so, IMO, always do your nandroids but try to keep only one or two on your card, save the rest on your pc... thanks for listening, have a great day! :)

Exact practice that I employ. I keep my original stock nandroid, then my most recent daily driver, that's it. Unless I want to toy with another Rom for a hot minute, I keep that one around.
I used to save em all, until Andy made me realize that I never go back and use any of those old nandroids. Why keep em around? I delete em all now.

And oldie but a goodie. I think there's been many threads about this, but a great reminder/tip for both old and newcomers :)

I usually keep 1 nandroid on my phone for a just in case scenario. I've always felt, it's better to start with a clean slate than to nandroid restore back to a rom from 2-3 weeks ago.

Then again, I don't have a 100 apps downloaded on my phone so doing a nandroid, clean wipe and flash, set up, takes about 45 minutes, so........:)

another oldie but goodie is to save at least one nandroid backup with wimax backed up on your computer. i only keep two nandroid on my card. one is for emergencies, usually a rom i really like. and the other is the rom i'm currently one.
