So, BeeBs...are you gonna take the 30,000th post from me and say something epic, or must I look continue to look like a nincompoop for posting four consecutive times to save it for you...?
I have received many remarkable nature photographs over the years but this photo of a nesting Falcon is perhaps the most remarkable nature shot that I've ever seen.
I'm serious! I don't know how people can text and drive. I mean, I have a double cheeseburger in one hand, drink in the other, fries between my legs and driving by the sheer power of my mind. How do you do that and text too?
<---------- Not being serious, oh ye law enforcement lurkers: kids, don't try that at home!
EDIT: Whoa! I just got my TV delivered from Best Buy!
I was really expecting a simple 55" HDTV, probably 720p. I mean, after all it IS a prize win. But NO! Squaretrade went all out on this: a UN55FH6030, Full HDMI and 3D!
It's almost as good as our UN55D8000 3DTV; about the only thing missing is the Smart TV connectivity. And we rarely use that anyway. Now what to do with this massive thing!
Well, after almost a month of pebble use with no surface issues, it's picking up scuffs at a remarkable pace lately. They're not horrible but they apparently needed to spend some more money on scratch resistant surfaces.

I think the lighter color shows them a lot worse than the darker colors. They only show up under lights on my gray but you'd probably struggle to see them on a black watch. And I'm sure it's even worse on your white one.

Yeah, unfortunately, we waited so long to see it it was only playing at a handful of theaters in the area. Wish we were able to see it in IMAX 3D.
All I know is, it's one of the few (and I mean you can count on one hand) of DVDs I actually want to purchase when it comes out.
Completely agree! Wasn't impressed by the trailers or promo stuff but watched it and really enjoyed it! I love that they kept it simple and didn't try to do to much. Instead they took the time to do it well (rather than do a lot extra)
Seriously, I saw the trailer and was like "okay, this is some sort of Transformers ripoff"...
Then when it came out and was garnering such good reviews (from the friggin NYT for crying out loud! ), I knew we had to see it.
So far, I think it just edges out Star Trek for my favorite summer movie with IM3 just right behind them. Still haven't seen FF6 or Superman so no comparison there.
Elysium, while I love Matt Damon, doesn't really interest me.
Seeing the trailer for Ender's Game again really does. I'm sure I'm the only person never to have read the book though. Wife claims after seeing the trailer, they totally botched the plot by admitting to Ender that it really wasn't a game but a real war at the outset. Can't say I noticed it, but again, haven't read the book.
I know I read Ender's Game in high school but the only thing I remember is kids fighting is like a zero G room. You might want to put a spoiler tag in your post?
So far my favorite is The Heat, but Two Guns wasn't bad either. I want to see Pacific rim, but my wife is not into Sci Fi stuff. So same story for Elysium.

Like I said, she just picked it up from the trailer but could be wrong.
Problem is, she's so damn quick to pick up on movies and predict the endings and I'm the lemming in there like, huh?
Guess it helps have two of your parents as university film professors who have an INSANE DVD collection!
That's funny Anti. My wife is far more into Scifi and fantasy and I'm the wrong more inclined to watch some sappy drama or rom com.
Yep. The sooner the better. Heck, that's my Moto X Developer Edition right there! We have a 55" 3DTV and have no use (or room) for a second one. Were it not for the Darling Bride, I wouldn't have it except for the VERY occasional movie or as a massive monitor.
Wait a minute! I could ditch my 27" monitor and put a 55" monitor in the office!
