Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

True story. Sometimes I have to translate the numbers into a clock face pattern to see the time.

Sometimes. ;) :)

I guess what I mean is that "10 till" is as good for me as "2:49"

You have a strange brain, Early. Unforgiven's, I can see that. But if you see

"1:50"

staring up at you in big black letters, you have to translate it to

in your brain, which then re-translates it into

"1:50"?

One of my good friends is a psychiatrist, I can give you her number. Do me a favor. Stop what you're doing and draw a clock on a sheet of paper.

Does it look like this?

I had high hopes of Disney releasing the original Star Wars trilogy. Found out yesterday that the first 6 were not included in the deal. Fox owns those until 2020 and they own Ep.4 forever.

Still available though aren't they, it's just that you're getting them from Lucasfilm or Fox or whatever, and not Disney.

If Disney releases an expurgated version of Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, I might become more interested.

Yeah, it's crazy.

I adapted to digital clocks decades ago, no problem. Early 70s. Great.

Then came the kids who one day told me that they didn't understand what a quarter to meant. Or how to read a clock with hands.

So, I bought them how to tell time watches with hands.

And it broke my brain. :D

PS - in your example, I don't re-translate to 1:50. I see the pattern and tell time from that.

After all, our reckoning of time is all about a circular, planetary pattern. ;) :)

WHOOT! Hyperdrive 4.4 KitKat for the Verizon Note 3! :D :D :D

Downloading now, did I say WHOOT?

WHOOT!

:)

I tried it on my T-Mo version and it broke my tethering. That was a deal breaker.

Running EchoeRom now and it is pretty much exactly the same except tethering is still operational. Insane battery life!

I went from about going to 10% after only 12 hours unplugged to now charging every other night if I want. It's crazy. I don't know what was sucking my battery so bad, but this certainly fixed it.

Pretty sure this is the Galaxy Nexus forum folks.:p
That being said, I've been perfectly fine with Beanstalk on my G2 (ran it on my S3 in the past).

Nexus 7 here.

I'll get the new tablet when it comes out and I could possibly go back to a nexus phone when(yes, when) Verizon gets it again or T-Mobile finally beefs up their service around here? I would rather see Google just use the Camera software of the manufacture they are using unless they seriously improve their own.

Ordered a new tv today. Excited for delivery! 3D and 4K!

Ha. I wonder how many of us are still on the Nexusaurus.

I think this has become a Gnexers Anonymous thread where we're all recovering Galaxy Nexus users :p

Anyway, off to do politics soon, trying to stave off a WHEEL TAX in this County. UGH.

@Halon: CONGRATULATIONS! I look forward to replacing our 55" 3DTV with a 65" 3D 4KTV as soon as the prices come down and content goes up. But as a fellow early adopter, I salute you!

:)

I don't even want to know what a "wheel tax" is.
Our tv is slightly "old" but for our small space, the 4 year old LG 32"er is just fine. I'm more concerned about sound and got a nice deal for a Yamaha surround set so we're all good. :)

Edit: Tat is beginning to finally peel and starting to itch. Think I'm going through the right protocol and waiting for when I don't have to keep worry about this "thing" that'll be attached to me forever. :D
Buddy at work showed a pic of it to his fiance and she asked "What does he think of it?". He said "Doesn't matter, it's there for the rest of his life!".

I got the 2013 Sony model. Price has been coming down since the new are coming out soon. It has speakers on both sides of the tv.

I'm still on the Nexasaurus. I'm so ready to upgrade. Pretty soon, I'll have the oldest phone in the house as I am upgrading the rest of the fam to S5's. The s5 just doesn't seem to be enough for me. If the G3 has the snapdragon, I'm likely to jump on it.
