So bummed, I REALLY wanted to upgrade. But I surprised myself and exercised restraint ;)

Got neither because, for me, they were just too big (Oh, for the days of BB and Cap'n Ron. Can someone give me a "that's what she said"? :p). These phablets couldn't fit in my back pocket without peeking out.

And the M8, from forum posts, stops flashing it's notification LED after 5 minutes. Problem for my work.

And while the G3 audio quality is OK, I ran a side-by-side with my Moto and the Moto was much crisper.

Oh well, maybe a "smaller" form factor phone will come out in the Fall.

Verizon is getting the HTC One Remix (M8 mini) but once again, mini means mini specs to go with it.

And if the LED is an issue, the M8 isn't the greatest in any case because it's very small and hard to see in the first place.

I actually looked at a picture of an M8, and read about the coming Verizon G3. BRIEFLY. But no, the ol' Chief is dead set on waiting just a few more short weeks - 6 at most - before that exciting day when the Note 4 is unveiled! That and the day when the Moto 360 is available! When is that? It's a secret...

Not sure I'd wait for the Note 5... but apparently the Note 4 is rumored to be coming in two different styles:

(a) the normal candy-bar type phone; and
(b) a premium phone with bent screen and better materials.

I've saved up enough for the Moto 360 and just about any REASONABLE price they want to tack on to the premium phone. By the time it's released, I'll be ready at Verizon's front door with debit card in hand, waiting for the store to open :)

Just checked the T-Mobile coverage map. 4G at my location is "Satisfactory" at best.

If they can ever get their corporate heads out of the ol' proverbial tailpipe, we might have decent enough 4G signal to finally jump ship off the SS Verizon.
