Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

We're planning on finally seeing it tomorrow.
Halon, worth it for the 3D?

I'm a huge fan of 3D so I'll always say yes! :)

If you can see it in Imax then I HIGHLY recommend that!

I think it is the best Marvel movie so far and is the beginning of a very good space opera.

While I was there I watched the Turtles movie too. Almost stayed and watch that new tornado movie also. I really like movies :D

P3droid says Verizon is closing a loophole today. He doesn't specify what loophole. There's only one left I know of and I didn't use it to get the G3.

His 3 tweets don't sound good for unlimited people.

My short convo with P3Droid

Den Dolansky@denjaminÂ*Â*Â*

@P3DroidÂ*there's only one loophole left right? The upgrade transfer.Â*- 09 Aug

@denjaminÂ*there are now zero.

@psiuglen @denjamin next week, midway point of August.

I asked about buying outright and he said that is still allowable.

Found the following:
" What's coming is no big deal really. It's only legacy none More Everything plans and it only says if you upgrade a line to a smartphone it must keep the data plan for the entire 2 year contract. So if you upgrade a basic line and then move the smartphone to another line and put a basic phone back it will have to keep a data plan for the 2 year contract. That's it. Nothing involving losing unlimited data and nothing about transferring upgrades. Not sure how it will work with transferring an upgrade from a smartphone line to a basic line and putting the smartphone back on the unlimited line. I would think maybe no affect since the line renewing the contract is the unlimited line. So in that case I'd think the basic line wouldn't have to keep the data plan. No clarification on that but can't see it being possible with the basic line having no contract.

Well, it's good to hear that unlimited data has dodged yet another bullet :)

That's the way to do it: monthly set-aside of money into a special account and then buy your new phone outright, full retail, and rock on. No contracts :D

You had me worried there for a minute!

EDIT: Holy Smokes! Another GNWH alumni makes Mod! Congrats to Bread! No more loafing around!

:p

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't having a Yogi Berra moment. "It's deja vu all over again.":p

No Bread, I hadn't read that and it really doesn't apply. I paid full retail for the Note 3, and I'll pay full retail for the Note 4. And the Moto 360 if the rumor is true that Motorola will retail it through carrier stores because they're "better trained to answer questions".
