Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

For the state fan above me. :D:p;)

That sucks you got fired for that, but I think you made the right decision. That's the one I would have made. That is one thing I LOVE about the place I am now. Sick leave accumulates and rolls over year to year and I have tons of it. There are regulations on how much time can be spent with family, but it is loosely imposed. So I could easily take off a couple of weeks of sick leave and a week or so of vacation here for that purpose.

I actually read up on it after my disembarkment from my previous employer and they offer paternaty leave IF you are with a company with so many employees AND they offer that package. Otherwise it is simply unpaid leave/vacation/sick time/ or being selfish and wanting to be with your new born kid that you moved 1300 miles to meet and raise.. Either way I'm better off without that company anyway. They practically went belly up and lost most employees and contracts due to short cuts and poor workmanship. I am a tedious electrician and my work always looks good. :):smokingsomb:

Hard to believe that Samsung lost so badly. Like the fruit has a patent on rectangular phones with rounded corners? The jury (probably busy throughout the trial playing Angry Birds on their fruit phones) apparently thinks so

I guess the next Samsung Nexus will be sharp and triangular

I vote for ninja star shape.

I'm glad your interview went well. Maternal leave is a pain sometimes with employers. Paternal leave is much worse. I hope it all works out in the long run for you.

I actually got fired when Alsace was born because the wife had to have a C section and she was practically immobile for a week due to pain. (Low threshold) and my boss thought there was no sense in me being there. I disagreed with him and stayed with my family.

You do know about FMLA?http:// http://www.dol.gov/dol/topic/benefits-leave/fmla.htm

Hey folks how is everyone?

Looking for some ideas/websites for cool wallpapers for our phone. Can someone hook me up?

Thanks.

Extremely tired. How are you BB?

Will have to take a look. So far I just see a lot of sports themed ones. :p

Thanks though.

Tired, cranky and sad. Almost bed time though and tomorrow is another day.

He does get a lot of sports requests in that thread.

Samsung

“Today’s verdict should not be viewed as a win for Apple, but as a loss for the American consumer. It will lead to fewer choices, less innovation, and potentially higher prices. It is unfortunate that patent law can be manipulated to give one company a monopoly over rectangles with rounded corners, or technology that is being improved every day by Samsung and other companies. Consumers have the right to choices, and they know what they are buying when they purchase Samsung products. This is not the final word in this case or in battles being waged in courts and tribunals around the world, some of which have already rejected many of Apple’s claims. Samsung will continue to innovate and offer choices for the consumer.”
