How is 5.0 treating you? Is it still going strong or do you see some lag starting to form here and there with daily use? I am still on 4.5 waiting to hear results before I jump to 5.0 or leave for another ROM.

Sometimes it takes 2-3 minutes for the screen to come on even having tried different kernels. Just frustrated - makes me want to go back to stock to ensure my phone works, but I absolutely love the customization and truly could never go back.

No :( I got the Note 2 a couple of months back, needed good battery life my Gnex was killing me lol But I am actually thinking about selling the Note 2, getting an extended battery and waiting it out for the next Nexus or the X phone. This phone is great and touchwiz is good..but I miss stock android and I think my Gnex is sad lol

I know the feeling, I was rocking and extended battery until I had apparently ruined it due to overheating. I'll be getting another one soon though.

If you miss the stock look/feel, have you considered unlocking it and running a custom AOSP rom like CM10.1? I imagine that must look pretty good on that nice screen.

Ya know, I did that once but it didn't feel right..idk doesn't fit the phone for some reason lol

Ultimately, it comes down to what you value more. The extended battery really makes this device a lot better if you can deal the extra thickness it adds. To me, it's worth it. If you do sell your Note2, then that would go a long way towards getting that Xphone.

The problem is that like previously, the LTE radio is a patch file that cannot be flashed through fastboot. If you try to dump the radio partition, it dumps as a whole and not as two separate radios. Only way I see as of now is to flash back to stock, take the ota for the radios, then flash back to a custom rom.
 
I can't say that these new radios are really super fantastic but I do get 3 bars in my house. I know bars mean little but still.

Hope everyone has a good week. We have a friend and coworker from CA here in town this week. Got to go out to dinner with her last night. Its always great to just hang out!! Today we are meeting with a local Sales Rep, to learn about what they do. Should be interesting....

Considering we sell Breast Implants, Botox, and others...we all wonder what they say and do to convince a doctor to use our products!!
 
UGH Janie and I found a roach in the apartment last night, totally ruined my night and my day so far today.

Super & landlord will both be getting phone calls today because I want an exterminator in here ASAP. I need to vacuum the place real well and now start doing research about how to truly deal with these because I know they are a huge pain and also carry diseases and I don't want me, Janie or the cats getting sick. ARGHH.

Has anyone dealt with this before?

I cannot wait until my lease is up - I need to leave this apartment. Its been nothing but bad luck since we moved into it.
 
It's going to happen from time to time I'm afraid. Growing up in FL, it was just a fact of life that they get in the house somehow. Those ones fly too. :p Don't be too hard on the super unless you find a lot of them. Oh, and check your pantry... Specifically non-sealed containers.
