Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Hello Nexicans ! RL has kept me busy, but I have been lurking :-). Any one having trouble sending an MMS? Running Sourcery 5.1 and both stock and Handscent both hang.

I hesitate to wipe everything, because I think it's the ROM that's corrupted. Anyone know much about Mac SDK? Are the commands the same as Windows SDK?
 
Problem is, Razor, that the user data has settings and configuration data in there for the ROM. If a fresh ROM is flashed, it's looking at the old settings and configurations (which may actually be the culprit). and may cause conflict. You can try to dirty flash the ROM, but if that fails, a full wipe is the next logical troubleshooting step. :)

Hi Copacetic!! Was wondering where you had gone. Glad all is ok. I had a problem at one point (don't remember which version) and it resolved after I turned off WiFi.

Really appreciate your help Chief. I suppose wiping everything will be inevitable, but what's the point if the ROM is corrupted, you know? I'm working with NYCHitman, who says the SDK can be used to load new files, but he's only used the Windows version, not the Mac, which is what I've got. I just need to know if the commands are the same.

I'm sorry, RS. It's never fun when the phone acts up and it doesn't help when your friends make jokes about it.

Speaking of acting up, recently I quite often find my phone (AOKP 5) searching for GPS, which of course is a huge battery drain. What's the easiest way to find out what app is is the culprit?

if you're referring to adb commands do a search in the VZW GNX ATR section. I and others have posted them many times in that forum. I use a mac as well.


On a Mac from within the folder -

./adb-mac rest of command line
./fastboot-mac rest of command line

I'm a long time Broncos fan, but although I have no dog in the Alabama vs Auburn rivalry, my favorite bumper stickers of all time was the one I saw that said "My Two Favorite Teams are Alabama, and who ever is playing against Auburn!"

I'm tempted to order a similar t-shirt or bumper sticker for my U of Utah son who absolutely hates BYU.

Busy weekend for me, working this morning, then this afternoon getting together with my wife's mom's side, and then church on Sunday and her dad's side.

We went to DC fit the week. It started well but then I landed in the hospital after blacking out and coughing blood. It turns out I have step pneumonia, which became septic (blood infection). I went into the ER then they out me into ICU fit the night because I was in bad shape.

You see my bp had crashed too lie as my body couldn't fight off the sepsis.

They hit me with all sorts of stuff to stabilize me. I hit out if ICU and into a regular bed last night and was finally able to her some sleep. I feel much better. I hope they release me by tonight..

I'm happy happy happy today. I fly home from Colorado Springs. I've been in my home state 4 days since 22 February. I get a whole week home then gone again.

i'm still bothered by the Dumervil situation. It made it a little worse when he got picked up by the Ravens.....at least we got Welker though. That will be huge.
