Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Thanks. I was going to have my dentist do it but what ever process he does they charge $1000.

Another little trick is to mix a little baking soda in your toothpaste about once a week :) Kind of acts as a gentle polisher for your teeth.

Well, my N7 is pretty much useless at the moment. Came home from work and tried using the Netflix app and it wasn't working, big surprise there. I cleared cache, cleared data. Nothing. Uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled...app still not working. So I figured I'd power off and restart. Now it is stuck on the X. I never unlocked or rooted it.

I guess I'll leave plugged in all night and hope it does something in the morning.

Hmmm, mine did that too the other day. That's when I decided I would unlock/root it....

How did you get it to work again? I haven't tried to turn mine back on yet?

Just turned it on. Still not booting up.

Have you tried booting into stock recovery and doing a factory reset? About all I can recommend if you don't want to root it.

Are you talking from the Power + Volume down menu?

Forgot about this: Trying now. Thanks for the hit in the head Anti! I needed that! It is working now!

If your tablet is on, power it off.
Press and hold Power until the device powers on, then immediately press and hold Volume Down (while still pressing Power). You will see the word Start with an arrow drawn around it.
Press Volume Down twice to designate Recovery mode.
Press Power to restart into Recovery mode. You will see an image of an Android robot with a red exclamation mark.
While holding down Power, press Volume Up.
Use the volume keys to scroll to "wipe data/factory reset" and press Power to select it.
Scroll down to "Yes - erase all user data" and press Power to select it.

More rumors of the new Nexus phone to be based on LG G2 and this time word is of a glass back. Why, oh why, must they insist on glass blacks?! Who the heck wants a glass back?! Thankfully this won't be on Verizon...I hope.

Glass back would be annoying for those who drop things.

Glass on the back of the phone? That's so stupid.

The glass back on a phone gives people what they cry about a lot, a higher build quality that doesn't feel like cheap plastic. Aluminum has it's positives, but it also has it's negatives like denting when it drops. I'm personally not a fan of the glass back, but it doesn't get on my nerves.

Can anyone recommend a simple 4.3 rom for the Nexus phone? I don't want something like JBSourcery. I just want something simple and not full of so many add on stuff.

This morning's run competed.

Movie and crap food time!

I've been running Stock 4.3 because I'm waiting for AOKP. I tried quite a few ROMs but none had the either fit and finish of AOKP or the stability of Stock.

Sorry Halon.

Happy Sunday y'all!
