Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Finally flashed recovery on my G2. I used Flashify and it seriously only took me one minute.

See the LG G Flex self heal...

WOO HOO! :D

With merely three weeks left on our 3-year SquareTrade warranty, they have determined that our POS ViewSonic gTablet is beyond economical repair! And they're refunding the entire (substantial) purchase price!

Darling Bride will be thrilled: we'll use the money for her full retail Moto X, fix the crack in her S3's screen and sell it. Sound like a plan? Sounds like a plan to me :)

Have a great short week everyone!

Ugh! I despise snow. It was snowing when I brought mini me to school. Then in the chaos of drop off my side mirror got smooshed. Probably would be considered my fault for going around someone (except that they moved as I was passing) and now I have to have it replaced. :(

Morning folks! Still no babies. Momma's getting frustrated, lol. She's not that uncomfortable and not in pain really, she's just impatient.

Kinda windy here this morning and not supposed to get any warmer than it is right now. Lows in the 20's tonight!

Geek - you've tried all the tricks, right? A brisk walk, a bumpy ride, spicy food....a few others that aren't family friendly discussion topics. :D

LOL Patience, Geek: the more that baby cooks in the oven, the better off and more developed. That's what they SAY anyway

Our first born was 6 days late and the Darling Bride was literally jumping ditches at the park trying to induce labor! Didn't work, but it sure entertained the folks driving by :p

Good morning all - snowing a lot harder than I thought it was going to be in NJ today. At least its not sticking. Crazy that it's going to be 60

Stigy: SquareTrade is awesome for just about everything - except smartphones IMO.

They don't warrant against loss or theft. You lose it or it's stolen? It's GONE. All my electronics are secured with SquareTrade, but our phones have Assurion/TEC on them.

Tried about everything but spicy food...wife hasn't gotten that desperate yet, lol. The doctor has told us he won't let her go past next week. I gave her permission to go get a massage at the end of this week if it hasn't happened by then. There's a pressure point, I think on the foot, that will induce. They asked her a couple of months ago when she went to relieve some back pain if she wanted them to try to induce, of course she said no at that point, ha :p

Chief, I'm not the one impatient, I'm ok if she makes it all the way to the 40 week due date. At this point though the doc is confident they are fully developed and ready.

Careful. You don't want to leave it in too long.

Question for you guys who have moved on to the G2.

How is the Dev Support. I am thinking about going the device payment plan way, but was concerned about LGs past support issues and dev support.

Since we wont know LGs support of it yet, I figured I would ask about devs.

Have you heard if/when LG will update to kit-kat?

I know of Clean Rom and people talking about flashing CM 10.2

I don't see why the G2 wouldn't get Kit Kat.

Rooting and flashing recovery is easy too.

Developers do amazing things...makes N5 camera better.

I am without a phone today.

This morning I shipped my Note 3 to some poor victim (Verizon’s, not mine) and I feel like I’ve lost my hand.

The T-Mobile store I went to last night to make the switch didn’t have the Note 3 in stock. They offered to get one from a different store, but only a black one. They can’t get a white one to me locally, so I have to have mine shipped to me. Will be here tomorrow or Thursday.

They offered to give me a loaner, but only a flip phone. I’d rather die.

They also offered to sell me another phone and just exchange it when my Note 3 comes in (without a restocking fee). I’m thinking about it. If they had the Nexus 5 I would have done it. But they won’t be available til at least Friday, or so I’m told.

Oh well.
